You and your close friend Nicky had landed a job to choreograph the dance scenes for the new Aladdin movie. I really didn't know much about it or what was planned because Nicky had arranged everything. I was just the female co-choreographer. I had met Nicky after auditioning for the dance role as we tested together. Evidently there was good chemistry which the producers liked.

I really needed this as I had previously been through a tough break up, where I thought we were going to be together for ever but he decided that his career is more important. In all honesty I'm quite grateful they happened because now my career was beginning to excel.

We flew out to LA alongside a few members of our crew who were just as talented dancers they were there for back up. Once we arrived there was no hesitation to begin preparation for the dances as Nicky and I wanted to create a unique piece.

The director told us that it would be important to meet the cast as we would have to be a dance double in case of any difficult moves. They were taking too long to arrive so we continued with a couple of trial dances.

"You excited to meet the cast? We're going to work with them for a while since we're basically teaching them how to dance!" Nicky said after a couple of minutes of dancing

"yeah I guess, I hope that they are not people who would look down on us and act up because they are celebrities" I replied

"Nah I'm pretty sure that we will get on, I mean their close to our age. Let's hope the best"

Nicky was always so positive, he was truly a light, especially these past couple of years where I needed a purpose.

Whilst we were dancing I was caught offguard by the crew instantly stopping and turning to look at Will Smith. He had a gorgeous woman with him which I presumed was the actress for Jasmine.

"Don't let us disturb your dance session! We just wanted to see what we're getting ourselves into" Will said with a gleeful smile

"It's a bit late for that, are crew have already lost concentration. Doesn't matter anyway I was planning to give everyone a break soon" Nicky said which made everyone cheer.

"Whose this beautiful lady?" Isaiah, one of our dancers said as he walked towards the woman with Will and kissed her hand. Naturally gaining laugher from everyone.

"This is Naomi Scott, she's playing Jasmine" Will said.

"Ah, looks like we're gunna be seeing a lot of each other seeing as I'm your dance double" I said and shook her hand.

"It's really nice to meet you, I saw you dancing and I don't think I will be able to live up to that"

I just laughed it off.

"Where's Aladdin? I'm pretty sure he wants to meet his dance double" Nicky said

"I'm right here!" We hear a voice coming through the main doors leading all of us to turn our heads to see who it is.

My heart froze when I saw who it was. Mena Massoud. My ex boyfriend. He was the last person I would have assumed to be here. All my emotions came flooding through when I saw him walk through that door with that gorgeous smile of his.

He has changed, he has become more built I presume from the physical work he's done and more confident.

As he walked closer to our large group I leaned back and held Nicky for some moral support. I don't know what emotions to feel, happy? Upset? Surprised? I can tell he was definitely surprised when he saw me.
