The next day was passing by so slowly. By the time that I woke up, Jimmy had already left to go film the upcoming video.

I was bored, but I also didn't want to intrude on everything that Jimmy did, so I had declined going along with them. Luckily, I was working a bunch of shifts later this week, so that would keep me busy.

Christmas was also a little over a week away, which was exciting and terrifying. I had been thinking about gift ideas for Jimmy for the past few days and kept coming up empty-handed. What do you get for someone who has enough money for anything?

My Google search history consisted a lot of: "what gifts to buy rich people when you're poor" and other similar variations of the question.

Eventually, one of my friends from back home offered--and came through to the rescue, honestly--to make a digital painting of Jimmy, me, and the rest of the guys. Jimmy had so many pictures and posters on his walls that it seemed like the perfect gift. She was an insanely talented artist, and she said that I just had to pay for the printing cost... on the condition that she got to meet Jimmy one day.

Deal. I'd definitely pay her more than just the printing cost anyway, but I'd literally do anything if it meant not having to stress about his gift anymore.

She was going to make the portrait in the next few days and then send it to me with priority shipping, so it should get to me with time to spare before Christmas.

At least the other guys weren't as rich, so their gifts weren't as difficult to figure out--I also had a huge crush on Jimmy, so his gift had to be special after all that he'd done for me. I spent the rest of the morning on my laptop, browsing through Amazon to figure out some gift ideas.

Before I knew it, it was already the afternoon, so at least online shopping made the time pass by a lot more quickly.

Jimmy had said that the tickets for Spider-Man were for 4pm, and we had dinner reservations at 7pm.

What do I wear for a not-sure-if-this-is-a-date "date"?

I still had some time to figure it out; he had said to dress casual, but since we had dinner reservations, it was somewhat fancy at least, right? It wasn't like we were going to Chipotle or Burger King.

It did make it easier, though, now that I was staying in the same house as Jimmy for my winter break. I could just wait to see what he was going to wear and dress accordingly.

I decided to start getting ready since Jimmy would probably be back soon, so I went to take a shower. When I had dried off, I blow-dried my hair and then decided that I'd wear some makeup for our "date"; luckily, I had brought some makeup with me from my apartment, so I started applying it.

Just as I finished up with my makeup, Jimmy came in through the front door.

"Are you ready for some Spider-Man?" he exclaimed excitedly.

I chuckled. "I'm always ready."

He was definitely dressed very casually in his hoodie and jeans, so that made my life a lot easier.

I made my way over to my clothes and picked out a cute sweater and some skinny jeans.

Jimmy had been standing in the doorway of my room, so I told him, "I need to change."

"Okay," he responded. He didn't move, so I don't know if he was just being cheeky or he didn't realize that I was saying for him to leave. He was grinning, so I had a feeling that it was the former.
