Chapter 13

Ryley tried to get her to leave

"Jade why are you here?"

"TO GET SOMETHING I LEFT! BUT YOU WOULDN'T KNOW THAT BECAUSE YOU'VE BLOCKED ME ON EVERYTHING!

"Sshhhhh!!! Stop yelling in the hallway"

"What did you leave?" Ryley asked

"A shirt"

"Really? A shirt? You can all this way for a shirt!!"

"YES!!! CAN I COME IN AND GET IT?"

Ryley sighed "Stop yelling!.... Now isn't really a good time" Ryley whispered

"AND WHY NOT?" Jade said as she pushed past Ryley and walked into the apartment

What the fuck Ryley thought to herself

"Jade, can you just wait right here. What does the shirt look like? I will go to my closet and try to find it for you"

"I CAN GET IT MYSELF" Jade said walking towards Ryley's bedroom

Ryley tried to grab her arm to stop her, but it didn't work

"WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE?" Jade said referring to Liv laying in Ryley's bed

Ryley walked in quickly behind Jade

"This is my........ friend Liv" Ryley replied

"Friend?" Liv said sitting up in the bed covering herself

"Babe, please just wait" Ryley whispered to Liv

"A NEW GIRLFRIEND ALREADY, HUH?" Jade shouted at Ryley

"WELL DID SHE TELL YOU SHE WAS ABOUT TO GET BACK WITH ME A FEW WEEKS AGO?" Jade asked Liv

"Jade, what the fuck, stop!!!" Ryley said

Liv was shocked. She looked like she was about to cry. She crawled out of bed and started looking for her clothes.

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU EVEN DOING RYLEY. YOU LEAD ME ON. THEN I SEE THIS!" Jade yelled

"WELL, YOU'RE ONE TO TALK! I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG TO YOU JADE. I NEVER PROMISED YOU ANYTHING!" Ryley replied

"YOU MADE ME BELIEVE THERE WAS A CHANCE... AND NOW THIS"

"Can we please just talk about this another time. I need you to go...please" Ryley said trying to calm down

"WHY THE FUCK SHOULD I? APPARENTLY, THIS IS THE ONLY WAY I GET ANSWERS- DROPPING BY UNANNOUNCED! YOU DON'T ANSWER MY CALLS.... YOU'VE BLOCKED ME. WHAT ELSE AM I SUPPOSED TO D--"

Ryley turned around and noticed that Liv was fully dressed now.

"Babe please. Don't leave. Give me one minute to get her out. I can explain everything"

"No. I...I should go"

"Please" Ryley said on the verge of tears. "I need you.. I love you"

"You're just saying that now so that I don't leave"

"What. What are you talking about? I mean it"

"Y..you.. Didn't say it back earlier" Liv said with her head down

Fuck my life Ryley thought to herself

Ryley grabbed Liv's hand. "I am sooooo sorry. Please just stay. I can fix this. I can explain everything"

Liv never looked up. "No, I should go"

"Can you please just look at me"

Liv shook her head no and walked past Ryley. She grabbed her stuff and walked out the door

Ryley sat on the bed and put her head in her hands. She eventually looked up at Jade

"Are you happy now? Is that what you wanted?" Ryley asked angrily

Jade stood looking at her with her arms folded, but she didn't say anything

"Why can't you just leave me alone Jade? YOU cheated on me, remember?"

"I know" Jade said not shouting for once

"So.... It's time for you to let me go. I am sorry about what I said to you before. I should have thought about it much longer before I said that"

Jade looked up at the ceiling to try to hold back tears.

"I'm sorry, but we can't"

"Because of her?" Jade asked

"Yes" Ryley said

Jade was silent

"I'm being honest with you. I'm not intentionally trying to hurt you or anybody else"

"I just thought...maybe I still had a chance" Jade said

"I see"

"Yeah" Jade said sitting on the bed next to Ryley

"You will find somebody else"

"I guess"

"You will. You messed up, but hopefully you've learned your lesson"

"I have"

Ryley let out a deep sigh.... "Good"

I talked to Jade for a while. I knew we would have to talk eventually. She seems much better now. I don't think she will be coming around anymore. I think she just needed closure. I told her I would unblock her number and she can contact me if there is an emergency. We are not really friends, but I told her I would be there for her if she really needed me. Now, I just need to talk to Liv. I've been calling her, but she hasn't answered. I just need to see her. I need to tell her how I feel. Last night with her was amazing until Jade came in.

I really do want a relationship with her. I didn't want one at first. I wanted to just mess around with a few girls while I got over Jade, but I ended up falling for Liv. I didn't want to admit it, but I did. That girl just does something to me. I love her, I really do. I should have said it last night. I'm so dumb. Now that Jade is out of the way, I hope she wants to still be with me.
