injun covered the doughnuts with a white glaze, zoning out in the process. men are always the same, he tsked, thinking about jaemin. same old pick-up linesㅡso annoying. the pure-visualed boy glared at the doughnuts, grabbing a napkin to wipe his sticky hands. it makes me sickㅡ
injun stopped cleaning off his hands, a jolt of memories unexpectedly flashing before him.
"i think i like you."
injun bit his lip; a sudden waft of panic rushed through his body.
why are you thinking about him now, idiot... the barista quickly scolded himself and tossed the napkin in the small waste bin. focus on work.
in the corner, jeno and jaemin were intensely staring at the boyㅡwatching his every move.
"what's taking him so long?" jaemin finally spoke to his boyfriend, prepared to kiss the barista.
jeno held the boy's hand and sighed slightly, knowing his intentions. "stop looking like a desperate creep, min."
the younger boy pouted, turning his attention back to jeno. "it's not everyday you run into an attractive boyㅡi have to take this chance before i regret it!"
"and get us kicked out of this café forever? i think not." jeno scrunched his nose with distaste.
though getting kicked out was the least of jeno's worriesㅡhe was just jealous that jaemin wanted to kiss this stranger with no second thoughts. who else has jaemin kissed without telling mㅡ
"he's just standing there." jaemin frowned and squeezed jeno's hand with impatience, snapping the boy out of his thoughts. "i want to kiss him already."
"i want my doughnuts." jeno sighed hopelessly at how motivated his boyfriend was in kissing a random stranger.
jaemin shifted his eyes back to jeno, noticing something odd; immediately he cracked a smile. "is jeno-hyung...jealous?"
that comment threw jeno off. "w-what? jealous? me?" he stuttered out with disbelief, avoiding jaemin's amused eyes. "of course...not."
"wahh, my boyfriend is actually jealous!" jaemin cooed, babying his voice.
"i-i'm not!" jeno argued, crossing his arms.
"awhhh. it's okay hyung, i love you more than that mr. injun." jaemin leaned in and propped his elbows on the table. he's so cute when he's jealous.
jeno didn't reply, sourly looking at the handsome boy. why must he be so pretty when i'm mad at him?
not the silent treatment again... "i'm sorry, don't be mad nojaem." jaemin slowly grabbed jeno's hands once more. "i promise i'll give you lots of kisses later."
jeno tried his best not to cringe at his boyfriend's sentence.
"i want one right now though," the words slipped out of jeno's mouth before he could stop them.
jaemin's eyes widened. jeno was never the type to ask for affectionㅡsince jaemin always unconsciously gave it to him.
but things were different today; jaemin was trying to kiss someone else, and jeno wasn't having it.
"did you hear me? i want a kissㅡright now," jeno repeated.
"in public?" jaemin smiled anxiously.
"what's wrong? you kiss me all the time when people are aroundㅡespecially when they're watching," jeno deadpanned; he could never hide when he was jealous.
"i meanㅡi'm trying to kiss the barista at the moment," jaemin said awkwardly.
hurt was clear in jeno's eyes. "one kiss won't kill you..."
"for the first time you're being so clingy." jaemin smiled slightly. "maybe i should ask injun to date me just so you'll get jealouㅡ"
jeno pressed his lips against jaemin's to shut him up, unable to stand his teasing.
