Ryker Fox's Penthouse

The two of us stood in the living room, seeming to size each other up. I couldn't believe my luck right now. Of course I run into Sam's new girlfriend here.

I'm honestly surprised I didn't recognise her right away. I had looked at her picture enough times. I'm not proud of it, but let's be honest..I think most of us have done a little internet stalking.

Not only did I struggle with letting go of Sam and I's relationship at the time, but I was suspicious. Suspicious of how quickly they had got together after we had broken up. I'm talking witgin a day or two.

I'm not an idiot. Usually if someone gets into a new relationship with someone that quickly, it means they already had them picked out and put on layaway. So to speak.

I went searching..for some kind of clue  I guess, that their relationship started before we had broken up. I had convinced myself somehow that I needed to know.

I started with looking at pictures of them together, before I knew it I had somehow got into her vacation pictures from 2009.

I finally decided, maybe I was better off not knowing. I couldn't really find anything anyway. Besides, I didn't want to play the role of the crazy ex-girlfriend who refuses to let go. So..I let go. I'm glad I did.

I'm pretty sure that bracelet she's wearing, used to be mine. Sam  bought it for me for our anniversary and I loved it. I never took it off. After we broke up, Sam  said that it cost a lot of money and he wanted it back.

I thought it was a dick move, but I gave it back to him. After all..he did pay for it, and I didn't feel like fighting about it. Before I knew it, she was posting on social media about the "new bracelet bae had got for her." Doesn't take a genius to understand what happened there.

But wait..I know how I  recognized her, but how did she  recognize me? Had she internet stalked me too? Sizing up the competition or whatever?! I had a hard time believing a girl like this saw me as competition though. Perhaps Sam  had told her about me. I cringed, not wanting to think about the horrible things he probably said about me.

"My Sammy told me all about you." She said coldly as if reading my mind. She looked at me in disgust, making sure I understood it wasn't good things he said. She also seemed to be attempting to show off her bracelet with over-exaggerated hand gestures.

"Does 'your  sammy' know you're at Ryker Fox's house wearing nothing but a robe?" I glared at her, and she scoffed at me. I didn't really mean to ask it out loud, but there it is.

"That's absolutely none of your business!" She snapped back, shaking her finger at me. The finger on the hand that was accompanied by my former bracelet, of course.

She was right. I mean...she was a bitch but, she was a right bitch. It was  none of my business. Sam is no longer my problem. I'm willing to bet though that he knows nothing about this. As jealous of a guy he is, no way would he be okay with it.
