I busted out laughing watching Seliyna dance with a waitress in front of everybody to All The Stars by SZA. Meanwhile, I was having a little fun myself by stealing wings off her plate. We'd been out damn near all day and had way more shopping bags than we needed.
I looked away from the older goofy couple that had joined them dancing as my phone began to ring. I stared at the name and contemplated on answering before accepting the call.
"Where y'all at?" Iman asked with his face all in the camera. I shook my head and flipped the camera onto Seliyna as she continued to dance, which she did often.
"She's always dancing with some strangers" Iman laughed.
I flipped the camera back and shook my head. "Iman what do you want? and move away from the camera! you most definitely do not need to be that close to the camera with your face being that ugly" I said as he smacked his teeth.
Seliyna slid back into the booth across from me and sipped from her drink. "Who's that?" she asked glancing at me but before I could answer his loud voice blared through the phone.
"Hey baby!" Iman said, cheesing into the phone.
"Hey boo!" she smiled as I shook my head at the two. I don't understand why they always do this, they act like we don't all see each other like everyday.
"When are y'all coming home, I'm bored..." He somewhat asked as he propped his face up against his hand.
"You just woke up, so how're you bored? I think that what happened was that you just so happened to wake up and saw that we were gone and you either wanted to be nosey, or you felt left out. Either way, I think we'll be back in about 2 hours... you'll be fine until then." I said before handing the phone to Seliyna.
They stared at each other smiling like idiots before they both busted out laughing.
"Baby, I put your food in the microwave for you and I'll bring you some food back home. However, I really don't think we'll be home any time soon, we'll probably go bowling after this if it's okay with Rylei." said Seliyna as she looked at her plate in confusion, probably wondering if there were less wings on her plate than before.
I chuckled to myself and then nodded. "It's fine, actually, ask him if he wants to meet us there since he's so bored." I said, putting emphasis on the word bored.
I heard shuffling through the phone before I could even finish my sentence. "Shit, you don't gotta ask me twice.." Iman mumbled, now rummaging through his closet for an outfit.

8:04 PM
It was now around 8PM and me and seliyna laid in my bed, shedding tears as we watched Like Mike, as if we've never seen the damn movie before. For the first time in awhile... I could honestly say that today was great. After eating we all met up at the bowling alley- and let's just say, I blew them straight out the park with how bad I whooped their asses. They got angry and started cheating, but I still won, and they damn sure didn't like that. It sure was funny to me though.
I wiped my tears and sniffed as Like Mike went off, I glanced at Seliyna as we tried to both discretely wipe our tears before I busted out laughing because we'd clearly seen each other. Seliyna lightly punched my shoulder and began loudly laughing with me.
