In Love with His Best Friend

Dad this is...

As I arrive home I start texting Zach.

"Hey my dad is coming home tonight I want you to meet him."

"Well how should I dress?"

"Dressy but not to dressy."

"Got you. Anything I should know?"

"My dad hates when a boy is a too much of a bad boy he hates it when u give him flowers he also hates when u play on ur phone at the table."

"Damn lots of things."

"Yeah."

"Well umm got to go my friend is over."

"If u don't mind me asking who?"

"Just a gal friend of mine. no worries."

"Ok bye."

All day I've been trying to figure out who this girl can be and all that comes to my mind is the blonde girl. That girl was probably the girl friend Zach had from a few years ago and they never broke up because Zach just left the state.

My dad arrives home and goes strait to bed. I'm not even sure if he saw me. I go to bed and can't even think about me and Zach staying together because of that girl. I stayed up all night just thinking about them together. The only time I got sleep was five minuets before I went to school.

When I got up, I put on nice casual cloths because later today is prom. I put on a little bit of make up then leave out the door. As I reach school I realize Ashton panicking. "Ashton are you ok?" I put my hand on his shoulder. "Delilah isn't coming to school she said she was hanging with a guy friend and she doesn't feel week today." I blink a couple I times. "Zach said he was with and old gal friend last night." Me and Ashton start breathing heavy.

Ashton grabs my arm and sits me in the passengers seat in his car. "Where are you taking me?" He sits in the drivers step and flowers it. "We are going to Zach's house now!" In the matter I five minutes we arrive there. "Don't make any noises when we are in the house." I shake my head yes and act as if I zipped my lips.

As we walk into the house Zach's mom already knew why we were there. She put her finger on our lips to show Zach was sleeping to be quiet. She points up stairs. As me and Ashton walk up stairs he pulls me back. "What ever happens we will still be friends me and you." I shake my head yes.

I put up my hand and put up my fingers to say 1,2,3. Ashton opens the door quietly and there we see. Delilah and Zach sleeping together all cuddled up. They looked like they just fell asleep. "What the fuck is going on here!?!?" Ashton screams. They both jump up awake. Zach comes running out. Thankfully they are both clothed.

"Ash Jo I can explain."

"Me too." say Dell.

"Save it Dell I'm sorry but were over. Same with you Zach." Ashton leaves the room.

"Jo hear me out."

"Zach how could you? And you too Dell."

"Babe I'm sorry."

"Me too."

"Well I'm not. Zach I have you chances with the drinking, your blond girlfriend, everything. And Dell I can't even talk to you now."

"So our friendship is done?"

I walk over to Dell. "I'll text you later." Then I walked out the house and meet Ashton in his car. "Ashton do you know that blond girl that like's Zach?"

Ashton bites his lips. "That was his old girlfriend." I shake my head no. Then I start to tear up. I wipe away the tears when Ashton puts his arm around me. "It's fine if you cry. Zach is a player. This is his way of breaking up with girls."

I look over at Ashton and smile. Ashton moves back to the drivers seat and starts to drive. When we reached my house I look Ashton up and down. "Ashton if you like you can come over." Ashton smiles sure. Ashton was still dressed nicely. He smiles then gets out and locks the car.

As we walk in I sit Ashton down at the dining room. I run up stairs and get my dad. When I bring my dad down Ashton is on one knee with a real black rose. (Black roses are my favorite flower in real life) I smile and I see my dad smile.

Ashton starts to breath heavy. Jordan, would you go to prom with me?" I smile. I shook my head yes then ran over to him. He got up and we hugged. When we stopes hugging I saw my dad walking over he put out his hand and said "Hello I'm Mr.Swen." I smile. "Hello Mr.Swen I'm Ashton." They shook hands and smiled. We all sat down and ha dinner.

All night we were laughing until it got to be 5:00. Ashton left to go get ready for prom. Once he left I ran up stairs and got ready for prom.
