I Think I'm in Love

Once we reach the pizza place, Delilah asked Ashton where is his best friend. "He'll be here soon by the time we sit down he should be ordering." said Ashton. The guy asked us what we wanted and we all replied one plain slice and a soft drink.

"I'll be at the bathroom. Be right back." says Delilah. Me and Ashton sit down and Ashton asked me "So you single?" I start to cough and tear up. I gulp.

"Excuse me? Come again."

"Are you single?"

"Why do you want to know? You are dating Delilah."

"Yeah I know."

"So why do you want to know if I am single?"

"Because my best friend is single and it's annoying. He hasn't dated someone in 6 years." (We are 11th graders)

I give a little smirk. "Yes I'm single." "Good I'll set you guys up when he gets here." Ashton says. As we start to eat Delilah comes out of the bathroom and sits down. "So babe where is you bffl?" Ashton puts his shoulders up to say I don't know.

"He should be here soon." As he says that we here the bells on the door shake. Everybody at the table looks up but me. It takes everything in me not to look up. "Oh hey dude." I hear Ashton which makes me look up. I couldn't see his face cause they were bro hugging.

Right when the are done hugging, Delilah gets up to hug him. "Hey Dell." he says. His voice is like the toon every imaginary boyfriend's voice. Delilah or now Dell comes quickly and grabs my arm. "Zach, This is Jordan." "Jordan, Zach."

I look at him with my mouth open the slightest bit. Breathing in and out of my mouth heavy. "Hi." Time stopped. When he shook my hand it seemed as if a movie. "Hi." I reply. We all sat.

Ashton started talking to me and Zach telling us about each other. *brrrr* My phone got a text. It's Dell. I was confused because she is sitting right next to me.

"So how do u like Zach???"

"He is very cute and handsome and cute."

"So he is cute?"

"Yes very <3!"

Ashton looks at his watch. "Hey, me and Zach have to start on our science project." Ashton gets up and hugs me and says bye then kisses Dell and says bye. Zach gets up and hugs Dell and says see you later then hugs me.

I wrapped my arms around his neck wile on my tippy toes and he puts his hands around my waist. Then I felt him put something in my back pocket. He backs away. "Bye." "Bye I say back." Me and Dell watch them walk away. When they leave she jumps up and down tugging on my shirt saying "WHAT DID HE PUT IN YOUR POCKET?!?!"

I hold her shoulders down so she can stop jumping. "Stop jumping and we'll see." She calms down then we sit down. I pull out the paper he put in my back pocket. I read the note out loud to Dell.

I thought you were cute and wanted to see you again. Call me.

Then there it was, his phone number. I look at Dell and she looks at me. We both scream like two girls out of a horror movie. I think we scared people because an old Mexican guy comes out of the kitchen with a fork. We stopped screaming and looked at the guy. He puts on a mad face then walks back into the kitchen. We look back at each other and laugh.

After are fan girl moment we start walking home.

The best thing is that we live two blocks away from each other. We got to the block where we part ways. We said bye then went home. The second I walk into the door my phone rings.

"Hello?"

"It's Dell when are you going to call him?!"

"Bye Dell!"

"Bye text me when you call him."

I hang up the phone then run to my room. I close the door then scream. I lied down then look at my roof. I snuggle up on my bed then fall asleep for the next day of school.
