It has been a month since I first talked with him.
And now he'd greet me every time we bumped into each other.
He'd shoved me a smile as bright as the sun in the morning.
One time, he had helped me when I was in trouble, like, getting the book in the upper shelf in the library or cleaning up the class with me when the others on duty have already skipped first.
Also, what I didn't understand,
He'd be excited whenever we're in a team.
He'd follow to what I say and command when leading the team.
Was he always like this? Or he was just trying to get my attention?
He's a playboy, lazy and likes to play around, but actually he's a very smart student compared to all the boys in the class -Jinyoung is exception, and will always be number 1 in class-.
And I admired Mark for being so carefree.
But, that doesn't mean I like him.
Or do I?...
But why...
Whenever we're together he'd ask me to tell him all about Jisoo.
It's so sad knowing that he tried to be nice and friendly just to get to know her through me.
But why didn't he make a move towards her?
Why did he make me miserable, falling for a boy like him? Though he's a cute guy but a playboy,
Which I despise the most.
I hate myself for feeling like this.

AUTHOR'S POV
Wednesday is extracurricular day and the students participate in a club they are assigned to. Mark joined the Basketball club with his fellow gang (Jinyoung, Jackson, Youngjae and Namjoon) and since the coach was absence due to an accident, their seniors told the juniors to take a time off and the gang stayed in their classroom. Mina and Jeongyeon - a fairly tall short haired girl with tomboy vibes from different class- tagged along since they both were the official team manager in their batch for the school basketball club of which the boys were part, whose duties were to keep tracks on the boys and provide supports for them.
And so, the seven of them were having small conversations to kill boredom until Jeongyeon suggested them to play truth or dare. Everyone agreed on it and sat in circle.
"So, Mark. Tell us the truth. I heard you've got a crush on Jisoo?" Asked Jinyoung when the bottle turned to Mark and he chose truth.
"Well, that was then, before I knew that you like her too. Why would I steal away your girl? Anyway, who told you that?..."
"Tck. This girl on my left." Jinyoung said referring to Mina.
Mark shot a glare at Mina and she only responded him with a sheepish smile. "Sorry, I overheard you two talk about Jisoo." She speaks up, "admit it, you always demand her to tell you everything about Jisoo."
"Demand her? Her who? C'mon Mina, whose side are you on honestly??"
"Don't play stupid. It's Sana we're talking about. We know you." Jackson butted in.
"Welp... It's for science! I... Just wanted to help Jinyoung get to know Jisoo better from a friend's side of view..."
"Lol, look who's stuttering." Namjoon sneered, and everyone started teasing Mark.
"Come to think of it, you'd always get hyped up whenever Sana is around."
"Really? The playboy with the Ice Queen?" Youngjae's eyes were wide, couldn't believe to what he just heard.
"Wait, who's Sana again?"
Jeongyeon being the outsider, was clueless about this whole Sana thing, so Mina had to explained it to make her understand. Jeongyeon immediately joined the gang, making fun of him. "Oh the one who plays with Jennie. Really, Mark?? You've got the hots for her?"
"Do you like Sana?" that one question made Mark's face ripe as tomato.
"No- wait why are you guys keep bombarding me with questions??? I thought it was only one at a time."
Mark closed the question session and they all continued the game again. It was Mark to spin the bottle but then it stopped right at him, for the second time.
"Truth or dare?" asked Youngjae. Panic could be seen clearly on Mark's face and he couldn't handle the stares on him. He smelled trouble!
"C'mon guys... Playtime is over let's all go home."
"Mark you aren't usually like this. We haven't even done anything weird yet but why do you look so anxious?"
"Yeah you haven't done anything weird yet and you guys are already suspicious." Mark fussed.
"No, you are."
"C'mon Markie. It's just a game. Don't need to be bothered by it." Mina spoke in a soft voice, trying to reach his soft spot because she knew Mark would listen to his dear cousin.
He sighed. All eyes were on him, intimidating. And he couldn't help himself but choose the last option he thought was safer than the first one. Which –little did he know- was a very wrong decision.
"Dare."
Jinyoung -holding his title as the class president and being the most mischievous of all 7- on behalf of others, he commanded, "Mark Tuan, I dare you..."
