The next morning Cassandra and I decided we better go back to school, so after breakfast, Liam drives us to school. He also walks us in. We are early. The courtyard and the clouds whisper of the rain to come.

The moment the door slams, Ms Lawrence runs out of her office. She is wearing shaped and sculptured velvet plush, black strap heels and a nude camel hair coat.

Her daughter Kenna who is a grade above me is standing in her mom's office. Kenna is wearing a mini sculpture, white dress with see-through, lacy cutouts and white strappy heels.

"Oh Liam, I am so glad you made it back safe." Ms Lawrence gives him a big hug. She's a good 6 inches shorter. Ms Lawrence is always stylishly dressed. She wears a cute mini dress, heels and high buns. Liam hugs her back. When I hug Lima, I can hear his heart beating.

The door opens and brings in a flurry of rain, Ms Mccormick, Lillian, Morgan and Nora are blown inside. Lillian turned as white as a ghost.

"Liam, is that you?"

"No. I am definitely a ghost. Lillian."

"Sorry. I wasn't expecting to see you ever again."

"Can I talk to you alone?"

"Sure."

The two walk off toward Lillian's locker talking in hushed tones. I watch Lillian's soft and sweeping brown hair around the corner. I head into the library to find Luna, but only find Ms Ryan and Ms Bianca working on their laptops. Ms London, Ms Lawrence's secretary, comes in with the coffee delivery. She hands Ms Ryan an iced chai and for Ms Bianca, a peppermint mocha.

School was super fun that day. In English we watched Hercules, which was fun. In Chinese, we made dumplings. They were delicious. Then we had an assembly to talk about homecoming and other stuff. At my old school Miami Middle School we made a big deal of it. We would cheer sports teams and dress up a our masscot The Dolphin. Yes, like the Miami Dolphins. Here at this school, we have only 3 seniors. So are ASB is one kid from each grade. This year Brooklyn happens to be our member. In my humble opinion, I don't like my greatest enemy being in a position of power over me but I think she kind of blackmail people into it.

Everyone claps and then, the bell rings. Luna and I are walking down to our lockers chatting about prom, Halloween and hanging out. Then I feel a tap on my soul. I turn to see Sam looking at me.

"Could you walk with me to your locker?"

"Umm, sure I guess." I raise my eyebrows at Luna. She shrugs at me and gives me a thumbs up.

"Great!" He gives me a huge adorable smile. We're silent on the walk to my locker. I begin packing my backpack.

"So, I was wondering... would you like to go to Prom with me?"

For a second I think he is joking but he has a sincere look on his face. Mentally, I am going crazy but I am stone still. Did Sam Claflin just ask me out? NO WAY JOSE! I'm on cloud nine. What should I say?

"Yes, I would love to Sam. Thank you so much."

I want to scream, but I don't. When I get home, I text Luna.

So, Luna you'll never guess what happened today! Sam Claflin is my prom date! He asked me out, well, only to Prom, that's more than I could ever have dreamed of.

I sit waiting for her reply.

"OMG. Cora are you pulling my leg?"

"No . I am too far away to do that. But no, I am not kidding."
