Save That Shit

Peter and Tony were in a secret relationship for a few months before someone (probably Pepper) found out and told them that since Peter is so much younger than Tony that it would be a scandal if it came out and they had to break up. They're still friends but it's hard obviously.

"Fuck my life." Tony says out of the blue to Peter who's sitting on the couch next to his work station. He glances over at the older man who's still staring at the device he's working on, pissed.

"Can't save that girl." Peter replies and Tony looks over to him in confusion. Peter stands up and walks over to him. "Don't tell me you can save that shit." He says with a smirk on his face.

"Are you quoting song lyrics right now?" Tony says with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes and we're gonna play it now!" Peter says with a giggles and FRIDAY already knows what song and she starts playing it.

Fuck my life can't save that girl don't tell me you can save that shit.
All she want is payback for the way I always play that shit.

"Nothing like them other motherfuckers I could make you rich!" Peter shouts out and points at Tony with finger guns. Man he's cringey. Tony laughs.

"I could make you rich?" Tony asks at the same time the song says it again and he laughs harder. Peter just nods enthusiastically.

"Do I make you scared?" Peter asks and pushes Tony into a chair. "Baby, won't you take me back?" He asks and straddles his lap. Tony grabs his lips with his own into a deep kiss.

Peter pulls back and looks into Tony's eyes. Pain and love deep in them. "I know it's just that lyric but I miss you." Tony says and Peter nods as the song keeps playing in the background.

There's silence between them until Tony speaks up, "You're 18, Peter. We just can't." The teen bites his lip and stands up.

Peter shakes his head sadly and looks down, "It's bullshit! I'm old enough now, Tony." He says with pure anger in his voice.

Tony stands up and grabs his hand in his own. "I know, but what would the media think..."

Peter releases his hand and looks deep into his eyes, "Fuck the media! We both clearly want to be with each other so why can't we?"

The song ends and they're both standing there, staring at each other. Peter continues talking, "I never said this when we were together but-" he doesn't get to finish his sentence because suddenly Tony's lips are on his again and with so much more love and passion than before.

The teen whines into the kiss and wraps his arms around Tony's neck. After a minute they pull apart and rest their foreheads together. "The media can fuck right off. I've missed you way to much to care anymore." Peter was about to say something back but he continues, "and I know you've been here, so it wouldn't make sense to miss you but I miss this. I miss us being together."

Peter smiles and kisses him again. "I wanted to tell you that even though we've only been back together for 20 seconds, I love you." And the grin on Tony's face is bright enough to light up the entire sky.

"I love you too."
