HYUNJIN's POV
"Y/N...Y/N, Y/N L/N." Mr. Choi announced looking around the classroom. She's still not here? It was 4th period already and there was no sign of Y/n. Was she sick? No...she seemed perfectly fine yesterday. Oh, Maybe she just slept in and figured it was too late to come to school. No...Its only 11am. Where the hell is she? Unanswered thoughts bounced around my mind as I propped my head against my arm. Or what if she just hates my guts so much to the point where she had her classes switched...
"Hwang Hyunjin!" I shot up and looked around.
"H-Here." I propped my head up with my hand.
This class is so boring without Y/N. I miss her...I miss us... although it wasn't much, it made me happy. Even if it was just a glance at each other in the hallways, her asking for a pencil, or even her just smiling. Even if it wasn't for me. It was better than her frowning every time she'd look at me or acting like she'd rather have me dead.
I doubt she misses me. I'm just another popular kid. I wonder who she misses...
I was so drowned in my thoughts I hadn't realized it was 5th period and Mrs Yuri was trying to get my attention.
"Hwang Hyunjin!" She spat. My arm gave out causing my head to slip and almost hit the desk. People snickered around me.
"Yes, m-ma'am?" I cringed as I stuttered.
"This is your warning, The next time I catch you sleeping in my class. You'll have more than just the class snickering at you. Got it?" she lectured as she crossed her arms.
"Yes ma'am, Im sorry," I bowed and mentally facepalmed. I impatiently waited for our next break as more thoughts and wishes filled my mind.
"So now what's your excuse?" One of my "friends", Ivan smirked. I rolled my eyes and laid my head on my desk.
"It's nothing," I sighed.
"Did Prince Hwang Hyunjin not get to bathe in gold today?" He snickered.
"Just stop." I dug my head deeper into my arm.
"Oh wait! I know! Angel rejected you. Harsh." He held his nose high as he squatted down next to me.
"Ivan," I kicked him in the leg, "I don't like her and Go away. Forever."
He yelped and jumped up in response.
"Alright. Fine....Jerk." He mumbled as he limped away. Drama queen.
The rest of the day went by slow as Ivan continued to pester me to see what was wrong. He wasn't that bad of a friend but he wasn't that good of a friend either. He always needed to get into my business and annoy me with it. I frowned and sighed as school ended and there was still zero sign of Y/n. I made my way to the parking lot as kids rushed to the buses, trying to escape the hell hole we call school. I started the car and pulled up towards the front gate we're a little Jeongin stood as fangirls tore through the school doors.
"GET IN!" I shouted jokingly as his fangirls started to catch up. He scrambled to the car in an attempt to be freed. I yanked his arm as he climbed into the tall car.
"Go! Go! Go!" Jeongin jokingly demanded as fangirls smooshed their faces against the car door. Jeongin cringed as their makeup left marks on the windows. I pressed the horn and like always, The girls backed away confused and scared. I shook my head and waved them goodbye as i drove off.
"Phew. That was close." I joked as I drove out of the school.
"Hyung, I barely ate today due to studying..Can we go get food?" Jeongin asked, sounding a little more down than usual. I smiled and ruffles his hair.
