Warnings:

Language: Mainly Yata and Koharu.

This is my first book, so I'm sorry if its terrible. <3

There also might be some sexual stuff in later chapters. Though I'm not sure yet.

Also disclaimer, I do not own K. The only thing I own is Koharu because she is my oc. :)))

Koharu POV:

The sun was shining on my face as I woke up. I squinted and sat up looking at the time I gasped. I slept in again. It read 9:15 a.m. I had 15 minutes to get to work. I got up and ran to get changed into jeans and an oversized nirvana tee. Looking into the mirror of the small bathroom I quickly braided my long silver hair, brushed my teeth, and washed my face. Applying a little makeup under my eyes, I ran into my bedroom to grab a pair of black chucks. With one last look in the mirror, I picked up my skateboard and walked out the door.

Skipping steps I scurried down the stairs of my apartment building finally reaching the bottom floor, I threw my board down and skated in the direction of cafe I worked at. I pulled out my phone from my pocket. The time read 9:25. I quickly put it away returning my focus to the obstacles on the sidewalk. I ollied down stair sets and up curves maneuvering through the crowd of people until I was thrown off my board falling on top of someone.

I opened my eyes to see two skateboards rolling and a boy with chestnut hair and a beanie blushing underneath me. I sat up picking up my board.

"I-I-I'm sorry," He stuttered.

Angered that I was now going to be late to work I said, "Watch where you're going" and skated away.

Granted I did feel bad for my words since he was polite, but I was a few minutes late for work as well as a new scrape on my elbow.

I finally reached the block of the cafe and skated to the door. Popping my board off the ground to my hand, I opened the door and walked in.

"Good morning" the older lady behind the counter also known as my boss said with a smile.

"Morning, Mrs. Kamamoto" I replied with a small smile.

Walking behind the counter, I set my board against the wall with a smile.

One of the only other places I enjoyed to be besides home and skating at dark was the cafe. It has a peaceful aura to it that makes me feel safe as well as the smell of fresh cooked pastry and coffee.

Mrs. Kamamoto seemed to notice the scrape on my elbow.

"O dear, did you fall on your way here", I nodded while she reached for my arm pulling me to the sink, where she cleaned out the wound. Mrs. Kamamoto is a sweet older lady who treats me as if I am her granddaughter, always taking care of me when I am hurt and in need. Plus she gives me the extra pastry to take home at the end of the day.

After about an hour, a man with a black hoodie came in. He ordered a coffee and sat down. The man had a mysterious feeling to him which made me shutter. I felt him staring at me as I poured his coffee. I put the lid on and approached his table, setting it down in front of him.

"Your coffee" I said, the feeling increasing as I got closer to him.

Right when I turned around, he grabbed my wrist stopping me. I turned around and saw Mrs. Kamamoto staring at us with a worried expression on her face. His grip tightening.

"If you don't let her go and leave right now, I will call the police." she said to the man while holding her phone in the  air.

I can't tell if the threat phased him, but his grip let up enough for me to pull my hand away and run behind the counter. He stood up, taking one last look at me before walking out with his coffee.

About four hours later, we closed up the cafe.

"Be careful getting home." she warned me.

I smiled and nodded while I pushed off my skateboard in the direction of my apartment. I skated as fast as I could while avoiding hitting anyone like earlier. About a block away from my house I noticed the boy I ran into fighting with a man wearing a blue uniform. I pushed my way to the front of the crowd.

"Stupid monkey" the boy shouted, flames exploding from the end of his board.

The man blocked his attack while calling the boy a chihuahua and some other names.

The battle went on for a few more minutes in which the boy was stabbed in the shoulder by a throwing knife.

"Fushimi stop"- I heard a female voice say. I turned in the direction it came from to see a young blonde lady with a similar uniform to the man called "fushimi."

He stood back and said something back to her that I couldn't hear.

"Yata, come with me to treat your wound." the lady said to the boy.

"No, why would I do that" Yata replied while looking towards the ground.

The crowd dispersed as well as the woman and Fushimi leaving me. "Hey" I said to get the boy called Yata's attention. "Wha--"he turned around to face me stopping mid sentence.

"Y-Y-You're the girl from this morning" he said while blushing. I nodded.

"You should probably get some help" I said looking at his shoulder.

"Yata, Yata" A man yelled as he approached us. Eventually, he reached us with a worried expression. I couldn't help but smile when I saw him. He has a camera in one hand, light brown hair, a piercing in his left ear, and to top it off, a bright smile. Overall, he was very handsome. He turned towards me when I realized I was staring. His smile seemed to get wider as a blush ran across my cheeks.

"Hello, I'm Tatara Totsuka, what's your name" the man asked me. As he drew closer to me I noticed he was a good bit taller than me.

"K-Koharu Aka" I answered stuttering while looking at the ground to avoid staring again.

He smiled again "It's a pleasure to meet you"

"Same to you" I said trying to compose myself.

"Well, we need to get going." Totsuka said giving me one last smile before turning and walking away, Yata following close behind.

'what the fuck is wrong with me' I thought while skating the rest of the way home.

When back at the apartment, I kicked off my shoes and socks, changed into some shorts, washed my face and laid down. Still thinking about Totsuka, I felt myself slowly fall asleep.
