𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐲 (𝐤𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐮 𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐬)

    "Ms. Rye," My teacher called my name. The way he said my last name sent a chill running down my spine.
    I shrugged it off.  "Here," I said. He continued calling the rest of the students names while the class worked on their class work. It seemed like every other girl was obsessing over the new teacher but I tried not to pay attention to it, although i had to admit he was easy on the eyes. Class carried on normally and so did the rest of the day. It seemed to go by so slow though, and I dreaded it.
As i was walking out of school, I noticed Mr. Reeves walking to his car. It felt wrong to stare but it was hypnotizing, how his he licked his lips every once in a while, and how serious his face looked, with his eyes scrunched up from the scorching sun.
"Hellooo, earth to Anna!" I heard a voice from behind me and immediately began to blush, turning around to see a confused Jordyn.
"Sorry, i was just thinking." I played it off with a laugh. She gave me a weird look and shrugged it off.
"Well i wanted to know if you wanted to go to the mall?" She asked. I didn't know whether i wanted to or not, suddenly I felt tired.
"Uh, I don't know, I think I'ma just go home and take a nap." I explained. She looked bummed, but understood and said it was fine.
I started walking in the direction to my house, since it wasn't that far a walk, I decided i would save my mom the gas and just walk myself. I really needed to get my license, this was so annoying.
As I was walking, I heard a car slowly driving up towards me. Me being the anxious person I am, I started to walk faster. I couldn't help it and turned around to see who was following me. It caught me off guard so bad I almost bumped into the stop sign. As I stop walking, my eyes turn to see no other than Mr. Reeves roll down the window of his car. My heart stopped beating for a second and I quickly regained my posture.
"If I remember correctly, it's not safe for someone like you to be walking home alone." What he had said caught me off guard, why did he care?
"Mr. Reeves, hi! What are the chances you happen to find me walking home alone?" I said with a sigh.
"You should probably let me drive you home, you look so exhausted." He suggested. I was a little shocked but also felt a little out of place.
"I appreciate the offer, but wouldn't that be a little weird? My teacher driving me home?" I tried my best to not get hypnotized by his glossy lips, he was my teacher for god sakes.
"Oh Annabelle just get in, think of it as a first day gesture." It took me a moment to register the fact that this was actually happening, but I took a breath and hesitantly got inside his car. Mr. Reeves' car. Oh my god I can't wait to tell Jordyn. I shook my head as I stopped my train of thought and almost laughed to myself.
"Thanks for this, you didn't have to, I was doing just fine walking." I explained nicely.
"It's no problem at all, just trying to help. Now if you could just put your address in, that'd be really helpful." He looked over and smirked at me. I was trying to control the unconscious throbbing in my pants, it took me a few seconds to process what he had said.
"Oh yeah, right." I said with a flustered laugh as i entered the numbers in his GPS system. He looked pretty rich based on the looks of his car, I wonder if he had a wife. Boy, is she lucky.
The car ride was pretty quiet but it wasn't awkward. It was one of those peaceful quiets. Soft radio was playing in the back and the GPS voice was giving the commands. This guy could be a rapist and I wouldn't even know. He could murder me right here in this moment. Why did he even care if I got home safe anyways?
"You have arrived at your destination." The navigator voice had snapped me out of my thoughts and I realized I was right outside my house.
"Well thank you Mr. Reeves for the ride, again you really didn't have to." I restated because I felt bad.
"No really it was my pleasure, and please, call me Keanu." His deep voice resonated through my entire body in that moment. I smiled and got out the car. I walked up the driveway and to the front door and turned around one last time to see my teacher wink at me before driving away.
