she hated the way society mended words and phrases into a commence amount of letters.


she did not believe anything was beautiful with the shortened words, and the symbols that were just arbitrarily inserted, replacing the letters.


because every letter counted.


every small detail mattered.


and that was all to say to a girl who overlooked the details, and broke.


she was scared of breaking again.


she was scared to think every letter did not count.


because, she realized, changing one letter, could change the word.

he played the notes because they took him far away.

he struck the tune, letting the strings tell a story of their own.

because he realized reality was not enough.

he would sometimes play a loud, rapid, furious cacophony.


he would sometimes stroke soft, fragile, gentle melodies.


he was alone.


and he realized that reality had the ability to do something unforgivable.

it could mess up one note, and destroy the whole song.
