In a world of heroes, and villains. Where 80% of the population are born with quirks it's hard to imagine the chances one may have of getting a quirk that's suitable for hero work. Really, having a quirk at all can be a blessing to some. There are also many who say that your quirk. The power you're born with can help decide what kind of person you are to become as an adult. That notion is funny to some. If it's true at all. Then it begs the question. Why do good people become villains?

The sparking static of an old box television sputters on the shelves of a Japanese home as it and many others in the country display a broadcast as the voice of some nameless reporter chimes in cutting silence as he brings forth the days news revolving around the cities' heroes. "In the city of Osaka, among the vast sea of heroes within the district. Some more popular than others. Roaring in however, with a ranking if #15 in the country today we'll be discussing the status of the Amazoness Hero Lion Heart, given name Shirash Taiyo. Many are familiar with her beastly quirk and have watched the lioness her use her a strong claws defending them from criminals with brutal ferocity, and drift attacks. Renowned for her beauty, sunny mane of blonde hair, golden eyes and fiery personality retires today. Despite only being 30 and in the prime of her career the heroine finally admits she will be stepping down. As many tabloids speculated during her near 10-month absence the spunky heroine just gave birth to two beautiful children a lovely daughter, and a bright young son who she plans to devote her time to. Needless to say proud father Military Lieutenant Aohara Daichi must be thrilled." This news ripples through the city for a while before dying down about as quickly as it came. The pro heroes retirement left many speculating though. Old fans who still cling to her merchandise and comics, the subject of talk shows who called her for interviews when she had time. Asking the question that begged an answer. Would her children become heroes too? Like most children, the twins would receive their quirk by the age of 4. If nothing appeared that often meant that the child fell into the unfortunate 20% margin of being born without a quirk. Everyone associated with the Aohara family waited eagerly for the day that the twins would get their quirks. Sure enough the time did come for Shishiza the younger sister of the pair.
Bright blonde hair that shimmered like the sun in the sky framed her face, golden eyes like those of her mother. Paired with the lion traits inherited by her mother Shishiza while in a fight with some kids at a local park the young girl found that after a bully pushed her back she was able to hit them back with double the power. Quickly landing a blow on the bully and gaining praise from the classmates she had been defending. Okui however. The chubby elder brother of the pair, born exactly a week apart from his sister while he was happy for his sister he himself despaired. After he turned 5 and had no obvious sign of a quirk it was concluded that he was quirkless. The bigger and older twin who was expecting to be a great hero like his mother was left to face the truth that he may never develop a quirk. There was no such thing as a quirkless pro hero. Okui however, did not let his spirit waver. A happy and cheerful boy with an appetite that matched his loud, jolly nature continued to try and smile despite the bullying, and constant efforts to prove his own strength. Strength that unknown to him would bloom with each passing day as he entered his first years of primary school.
