CHAPTER FOUR THE MALL

"I saw this really cute outfit at Hot Topic the other day," Anastasia trailed, a small grin peaking onto her peachy lips, but it soon fell. "But the last time I went was like three months ago so they probably don't have it."

"Great," Ruth smiled softly, eyes training on the passing buildings as their car drove by.

"I'm sure we'd be able to find it, Ana," Daisy reassured, placing a hand on the girl's shoulder gingerly.

"Yeah," the girl replied, resting her head on her hand.

"Holy shit that's a lot of people," Nancy gasped, looking out at the many cars parked in the lot. "Do you think anyone will recognize us?"

Ruth's breath caught in her throat. People? She never thought of the fanbase part of being a celebrity until now. "Maybe," she squeaked, her face going red.

"It's ok, Ruthie," Daisy laughed patting the small girl's head.

Ana grabbed Daisy's hand tightly and began to march her way to the entrance, almost getting hit by a car in the process.

Once inside, the four gawked at the gigantic inside. There was so much to see, do, eat. The possibilities were endless. Anastasia shrieked once her eyes laid upon the hot topic, dragging Daisy harshly towards the clothing store.

"Help me," the girl mouthed back to the last two standing. Nancy and Ruth just giggled and made their way to the food court.

"KFC?" Nancy asked and pointed towards the stall. Ruth nodded in approval.

As the two stood in line, there was an oddly familiar squeaking voice from a few booths over.

"Well I don't like cheese so it doesn't even matter."

"Shit," was all Nancy thought when those words were said behind her.

"Don't look behind you, Ruth," she warned, glaring at the shorter blonde. But as all good things fail, she looked back.

There stood the four boys in all their boisterous glory, laughing and talking like the blokes they are.

Nancy's eyes narrowed and her jaw clenched but she tried to keep her cool. She breathed in, turning back towards the cashier waiting patiently for their order. After receiving somewhat literal pounds of fried chicken, they waltzed messily over to an empty table. Ruth has about three buckets held in her small arms, almost dropping them while setting them down.

The two laughed, and began to eat away at the glorious fried chicken.

Meanwhile at the store portion, Daisy yawned as Ana threw yet another shirt into her arms. "Don't you think you should try some of these on before you drown me in clothing?" Daisy complained, her aching hands supporting the many items Anastasia had piled on top of her.

"I always know what size I am, Daisy," Ana concluded. "Don't question my skill."

Daisy groaned tiredly. About thirty minutes later, she stumbled over to the fried chicken engulfed table with multiple bags of clothes on her arms.

"I dragged these from the other side of the mall," she groaned, looking like a zombie. "Someone give me an award please. Curse her parents for being so wealthy."

Ruth laughed, her mouth full of food still. Ana came skipping over. "Is that KFC?" She questioned, pointing a dainty finger at them.

"Hell yeah," Nancy whooped, shoving yet another into her mouth. The four laughed loudly, gaining the attention of a few people.

"Bucket number three!" Ruth counted, munching on one.

"There some for me?"

"Ew, no. Go get your own."

"Hey! That's mine!"

"Shut up, just let me have one."

"Fuck no, go get your own. This is my chicken."

"Jesus, okay."

Daisy stood up with Anastasia, pulling out her wallet and walking towards the KFC booth. And by the devil's work, a few boys stood in front of them, miraculously in the same situation as the two females.

"I don't have any money left."

"That's not my problem."

"Hey!"

Anastasia snickered from behind her hand. Daisy glared at the tall brunette in front of them. Ana nudged her shoulder thoughtfully. Daisy shook her head, staring off beside her.
