"We've been ordered by internal affairs to stop working the case," Hotch entered the room. "And until this is cleared up, you've been suspended. I'm sorry."

Hotch smiled sadly before leaving the room, taking Rossi with him. Garcia suddenly started to rip the wires off her body and move.

Morgan quickly stood up. "What are you doing?"

"I need to get out of here."

Morgan set his hands on Garcia's, stopping her. "Whoa, whoa, baby, listen to me. We're gonna get this straightened out. I'm gonna find out who did this to you."

"He's right," Mara said, standing too. "I don't give a damn what I.A. wants us to do or doesn't want us to do. But right now, you need to rest."

"But one of the last things I said before he shot me was 'everything happens for a reason,'" Garcia said, gripping Morgan's hand. "Derek, if I lose faith in that, then nothing in my life makes sense."

"I get that." Morgan nodded.

"No, you don't."

Reid asked Mara to go with Hotch to the station, where I.A. told them they weren't allowed to work on the case. They were looking into Garcia's past, how she got into the FBI.

Morgan was getting Garcia to tell her what was on the encrypted file. It turns out that it's a record of everything the team does but after her system got hacked and Elle got shot, she didn't want anyone else to be able to do it again.

Finally, Garcia got discharged and they decided to send her home. Morgan would never leave her side, of course, and they would have an officer outside.

Sometime during the night they got a call. Mara had been at Muggs with Reid. Their UnSub tried to attack Garcia in her home. Reid and Mara jumped into Reid's car and quickly drove to Garcia's apartment.

The rest of the team was already there. Reid and Mara moved past the police and into her apartment. Everyone's eyes fell on them coming into together, knowingly.

"The officers downstairs don't care that we're not allowed on the case, they want help." Hotch updated the newcomers.

"I'm sick of being behind this guy." Morgan shook his head, comforting Garcia.

"We need to get her back to the hospital." Mara stepped forward and said.

"No." Garcia shook her head.

"You should still be there." Mara said.

"We need her someplace safe." Morgan agreed.

"I feel safe with all of you."

"We could take her to the BAU." Reid suggested.

Garcia's eyes diverted to the corner, her eyes filling with tears. "Garcia? What's wrong?"
