Maaria's POV

I was currently in my Father's study, trying to study for school, but all I heard was loud screaming and some other varieties of noises. Walking out of my Father's study, and into the room of noise, I noticed Cathy and Christopher were arguing and the twins were making their own noises.

"Give them back Christopher!" Cathy exclaimed, trying to reach up for her item. Christopher was taller than me and the rest of our siblings.

"Not until you quit pounding on my wall, you freak." I grabbed Cathy's object from Christopher's hand and stood between them.

"You two need to grow up. Christopher stop calling Cathy a freak. Besides we all just miss Dad right now." I handed Cathy her object and she hugs me.

"Hey. What do you kids think you're doing? I don't even get a hug?" We all smiled as Father stood in the doorway, setting down his suitcase. Christopher and I run to our Father and hug him along with Cathy and the twins.

"Daddy!"

"Dad!"

"Oh, I missed you all so much." He hugged us all dearly and I smile. Even though something deep down inside me feels like I'm not his daughter, he still treats me like his.

"What did you bring us?" The twins asked and Father opens his suitcase. He gives Christopher a stethoscope for doctors and then the twins some toys. Mother appears in the room, looking beautiful as ever. Cathy and I stood aside.

"Did you forget about me?" My Mother's angelic voice rings through our ears and Father looks at her, as if they had remarried. Mother is very beautiful even in just a silky robe. Father hugged her, and then took something out of the suitcase. It was a black velvet box, big in size.

"Mm! I could never forget about you." Father had a beautiful necklace engraved with gold detailing and shape formed as a heart with expensive diamonds in the middle. It was lovely, just like our parents are. Mother takes it and smiles.

"It's so beautiful." I watched as Father helped Mother to put on the necklace and Mother wrapped her arms around Father and gave him a kiss. I gently picked up the twins and Cathy followed me to the backyard where our parents were not in sight. Christopher went back to his room to get the football and to placed his new stethoscope in his room as well. Cory and Carrie both played on the green grass. Cathy was looking out the door and wondering when did Father and Mother would come out.

Christopher and the twins started playing as Cathy was inside with Mother and I was sitting on the back porch of the house watching my siblings playing the backyard. Father came out and I smiled, as he walked over and joined the fun. Afterwards Cathy came and it all started to be a big ball of family fun. Mother came outside with a pie and I stood up, standing next to her.

"I hate to break up the party but dinner's almost ready, and I made your favorite—homemade apple pie." I roll my eyes at Mom and everyone stood up from the grass.
