Chapter 1

New POV.

I woke up a bit early than usual today this is the day i've finally waited for, months I've been preparing for. Today i'll be proclaimed as the Student Class President of our University for 2019 which i worked hard as part of the requirements if i want to apply for the Scholarship Culinary Grant in France where i dreamt of since i was a child to become a Chef—a Pastry Chef since i loved to indulge with sweets chocolates and desserts all my life..and to do it in France is a bonus for me.

After putting my school uniform on i went down to have a breakfast and i found my Por and Mae eating already.

"Good morning Mae" i kissed my Mae on cheek and she does the same to me too.
"Good morning son sit down and have your breakfast..today is a big day for you, you must eat well"...

I turned to my dad and he stand up then give me a hug..
"I am so proud of you my son..you're always working hard to achieve your dreams..Por and Mae is lucky to have a son like you".

I quickly let go of the hug.. "No Por its me who's lucky to have you and Mae as my parents, you both are always there for me".

Mae responded. "You're our only son we just want the best for you..eventhough we don't spend much time while your growing up you understood you didn't complain that we are always at work..." rubbing my left hand.

I sat down and cut my Mae...Mae not time for drama we're supposed to be happy today"...and don't start Por" i turned my head to him.."with convincing me to do internship at your company cos you already know my answer to that" as i started getting my food.

"Son..my dad blurted out...you're our only child..sooner or later you'll gonna run the company and..."

"Por not now please..Mae put her hand on top of my Por..leaving my Por with a big sigh...

University.

My professors the University Board and the entire school community greeted me after the event. All faculties and students came into me one by one sending all their best wishes for my entire year as Class President.

Last people who was beaming with pride and happiness are my two Best Friends...Earth who was majoring in Architecture and Engineering. Lee who is majoring Music and Theatre. We were best of friends since we were 4 or 5 and all of us studied hard to enter the same University to fulfill our dreams of becoming Earth an architect, Lee a Musician/Singer Producer and me to be come a Chef.

"Now our role is not only as bestfriend but as a security guard too" Earth uttered teasing and hugging me.. "Knowing more girls and just now there were guys asking me for your number and if i or Lee is your boyfriend.."

I shook my head am used to Earth teasing me not having a relationship since he already has numerous girlfriends since we were thirteen and flirts more when we entered University.

"Well i agree to that..Lee spoked and hugged me too..

"Agree to what...being bodyguard or being boyfriends for real?" Earth teasing and smiling..

"Cut it Earth..i sighed"

"What?? if i don't know you two and am not bestfriends to both of you i'll mistaken you as boyfriends which always makes me jealous cos you always left me out.."

"Hey Earth. Lee stopped him.."its you who's always ditching us everytime you see a girl that caught your interest"..

"That's is true".. i said, while getting frustrated cos this two might ended up fighting in my face for no reasons at all.

I don't want to admit it but Earth is a bit right I felt somehow that as we grew up I became more closer to Lee he has in relationships too before but always making time to hang out or just simply sending me text messages if am doing alright.

"Oh by the way Earth have you messaged Nicky, Mek and Mild for our celebration on weekend?" we were heading now back to our respective class when Lee asked Earth.

Nicky and Mek is our other friends during our since 6th grade but studied other Major from other University but still we hangout if we're all free on weekends, summer breaks and holidays, together with Mild Mek's girlfriend.

"Of course and Nicky is excited to bring his new girl this time..
"and you? i asked... "what are you jealous? if i bring one?"..Earth asked back.

I just smirked and said.."you wish"..lately Earth is acting and speaking weird with all this teasing of him..

"Well i already told the manager of the bar that i reserved a table for us so if there's still anyone you guys wanted fo bring or invite lemme know so i could make arrangements"..Lee spoked.

"Thanks Lee..you don't have to do this..I mean we could all celebrate somewhere...

Lee cut me in.."hey its good treat its on me and besides its been a while since the last time you guys watched my gig on the bar"

"Cos nothing more special other than singing you do there that's why"..Earth teasing Lee again.

"Oii Earth if you bring a girl and request for a special love song for her expect that i will not do it"..Lee teased back.

"Oii Lee am just joking na na..

I just shook my head seeing my bestfriends like this always..."Okay then see you guys after 5 i told the two and we separate ways....

I am closed to my building when I suddenly turned my head towards the direction where I heard our University Head Minister Godji but all the students just simply call her Mae Godji as she is more motherly to all of us..

screaming her lungs out i guess with students she caught misbehaving again and found myself walking near the basketball area near where my class is..

I tried to squeeze in myself with already group of students forming themselves trying to know what was the commotion all about...

"Enough both of you Joss and Tay".." I don't care who started it first, knowing you two whenever together you ended up fighting with each other"..

"Mae believe me"..Tay making puffy face to convince Mae Godji.."It was Joss this time, he intentionally hit my head with his elbow when am about to shoot the ball"..

Joss laughed.."hahaha..Tay this is basketball we are playing physical contact sometimes can't be avoided"..then he smirked provoking and trying to get to Tay more even if Mae Godji is in between them..

Tay shows no sign of backing out either.."Well you mister master of show off!!! once is okay but doing it three four times isn't cool anymore dude"...trying to get closer to Joss too..

"Yooooottt!!!!!!" yelled Mae Godji..."Stop this fighting nowww!!! I want you both in my office...

Mae Godji held the two on their ears on left is Tay and Joss on the right..

"Aaawww Mae"...both the boys screamed.."that hurts!"...

"Oh that hurts? ching ching?"...when punching fists on your faces killing each other is not?" I heard Mae Godji saying to the two and i turned my back going to my class when suddenly...

"New wait come here!" yelled Mae Godji. I turned around to Mae Godji.."Follow me too in my office..I have something to discuss with you.

I followed them slowly walking behind...
