when i saw him again, all the feelings that i felt for him came back to me in a wave. i felt shocked that his face would entrance me to the point i couldn't stop staring at him.
after all that time, i was different than when we were in UA. at this point we were known heroes, me here and Eijirou in the united states (or said USA), we went to a different type of UA. Became the 'Japanese Red Riot'. he said... i was just 'calm now'.
"You... hugged me?! You're so calm now, Bakugou! What happened to MY Bakugou, eh?" He hugged me as soon as he spotted me at the airport.
"Oh shut it, hair for brains. It's been 3 years!" I said, embracing him after too much time spent without him.
"Thereeee he is! Ol' insulting Bakugou! Oh, no offense, l.o.l!"
he broke bonds with everyone.
"Dude, what happened while I was away though? You guys became heroes right? Jeez, I can't believe I forgot
all
about
you."
he broke bonds with me.
"How's Izuku? Remember our Bakusquad? With Mina and Sero and Denki; And Jirou?"
'who's that again?'
'how are they doing?'
'what's up with them?'
...what about me, Kirishima? what about me..?
We went to a coffee shop in the far side of town, not far from UA. I don't even go there anymore, but the nostalgia keeps me from going anywhere. There wasn't any crime happening around here, but if needed I would be there.
The coffee shop had levels to it, we went to the top one (a balcony with a clear view of our city) to see the foggy day outside. Airplanes flew in an orderly fashion just over our heads, a very soothing sight that makes your heart warm up when you look out and see the city below.
Eijirou told me all about the United States, with all their fake food and arcade games like 'Pac Man' and 'Galaga'; and all the shows and diversity, African and African American and Trinidad and Hispanic and white and British and Irish and Chinese, not just Japanese like here; all the weird shit they do there, especially in the state called 'Florida', like some woman tried to stab her husband with a squirrel and five men getting arrested at Five Guys for fighting drunk. The United States is so weird.
After some back to back, I finally bring up his sisters.
"Oh, Eiji and Mici... I miss them a lot, Bakugou. But, I moved on. Don't worry about it. You're stuck in life if you can't go foward from the past, the past already happened and the future didn't happen yet; we just need to stick to the present no matter what to be happy. That's my motto!"
He sounded so... wise. I guess I didn't pay attention to that anyways. To hell with mottos.
