His voice was husky as if he newly got up from bed and that sent me goosebumps.

I don't even know why I'm nervous with my best friend. It was just a call, but why do I feel my heart beating so loud?
Denvy: I miss you so much, you know! I miss our football, basketball games, and pranks.
Those simple words made me smile. Having someone actually miss you was something that makes your heart warm. I noticed something different. It was his tone. He sounded weak.
Andy: You okay?
Denvy: Yes, I'm fine why wouldn't -I?
I heard a cough from him that made me worry. Is he really okay? Or is he acting as if he is okay? What's wrong, Ajax?
Andy: How are you? I heard that you almost crashed because of drinking. I told you to stop drinking before!
Denvy: Yeah, I know, but I can't help it. My mom and dad won't stop arguing so I decided to drink to get away. I just feel like I'm a burden to them. I should die.
Andy: What? Don't say that. You're not alone. My mom and dad had a tragic love story too. My dad abused my mom causing her to die! Yet here I am! Still living! I'm still fighting!
Denvy: That's the spirit of Lindsey! Thanks for those words HAHAHA. Gotta go now! Still need to do something.

I immediately messaged him and apologized for my rude behavior for the past few days.
Linden Mison: Ajax! I'm so sorry for those rude words I said to you. I completely thought you were a stranger! That's why I said those words.

Linden Mison: When mom died. Dad left the country and abandoned me. I'm at my aunt's and I don't go with them in malls. They provide the things I need. Ajax told me to try and go out of my comfort zone step by step. He was my mentor and I listened to him for about a month. I tried to go out of the house and asked my aunt to introduce me to the neighbors. I thought they were all cruel, but they were nice. I went to malls, but I still held the hand of my aunt. I tried to contact the companies who wanted me to work for them and they were happy to hire me as their writer. Even though he wasn't there to see me all this, I felt like he was holding my hand through all of this. All was good until I heard the news that shattered my world.
