Lindsey: Hello?

Nurse: Hello? Ma'am? Is this umm... Andy?

Lindsey: Yes, yes it is. Why?

Nurse: This is from the Vellet Hospital. You were the last person he contact. I'm sorry to tell you that Mr. Callan has passed away due to brain damage. Please visit him in Room 143.

Lindsey: WHAT?!

My world shattered and I felt my tears flow off my cheek. My first love passed away. I thought I'd never feel a broken heart, but here I am, crying. I called a cab and hurriedly went to Vellet Hospital.

"Ajax Callan, please." I told the nurse.

"143 Ms." The nurse told me with a smile. Why is she smiling? I ran to the 4th floor and opened Room 143. My heart immediately dropped as I reached him. He was covered with a white sheet and I can't help but cry. I fell on the ground and didn't bother lifting the sheet.

"Ajax, why did you leave me behind? Didn't you say we would keep fighting? I conquered my fears! We could finally hang out again! It was because of you! You, Denvy! Please come back! I love you! Even with all your bullying, I knew I liked you since 7th grade. Denvy, please!" I sobbed while crying out his name.

"Really, Lindsey? Because I loved you since I first met you." I was surprised to hear his voice. I'm dreaming again. Maybe it's because of the stories I wrote in my blog.

"Yes!" I answered. I knew this was a figment of my imagination but a shadow was at my side. I looked up and saw the brown haired guy I loved since 7th grade.

"AJAX?! WHAT?! YOU'RE ALIVE?!" I exclaimed. My tears were dry and I knew I looked like a lion, but seeing him alive was the best feeling I experienced.

"I was testing you, Andy." He said with a grin.

"YOU'RE PRANKING ME AGAIN?!" I said while putting my hands on my waist.

"You know I love pranks. Didn't you notice the room number? It was 143!" He said.

"What?! I didn't mind the room number because I thought you were dead! This was your plan?" I asked.

"This was your final challenge in overcoming your fear. I thought you wouldn't go here since it's a hospital." He smiled. The smile that sent shivers down my spine.

"You are one unique guy." I smiled at him.

"Now enough with the dramas! Lindsey Andrea Mason, let me ask one last thing." His soft hand held my hand and looked at me in the eyes. My brown and his blue eyes met making me blush. My heart never stopped beating so fast just by his presence.

I felt like I heard fireworks when he asked me the 5 words I was always dying to hear.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

10 years later...

What is love?

Love is indeed finding a best friend. A best friend who would choose you through thick and thin. I thought I would never experience that kind of love, but oh well? This stranger broke my wall and invaded this silly heart of mine.

"Getting to know him was a miracle, but having him will forever be a blessing."
