"Buljjangnan."

We did our ending pose as the crowd applauded. Although a little breathless, I still flashed my biggest smile, trying to hide my annoyance at the technical difficulties we've had with our mics while performing.

The Asia Artist Awards is one of the very first award shows we're ever attending and performing at since debut and this shit happens.

I scan the crowd and lock eyes with a familiar looking doe eyed boy. His facial expression was blank while giving a polite clap. Damn, now I feel even more embarrassed. We bowed and exit the stage.

"What the hell happened?"

"Calm down. They already apologized." One of our managers tried to reason with a fuming Jennie.

"Oh gosh, it was so embarrassing. There were so many seniors in the crowd and they didn't look entertained at all." Rosé whined, close to tears.

I hugged her. "Hey, it's okay Chaeyoung-ah. I'm sure they understand what happened with our mics. Most of them are performers after all."

Jisoo was also consoling her.

"Okay, girls. Settle down. We're looking to receive the Best New Artist award so please get your touch ups done and be ready to step out in 10 minutes." One of our managers announced.

"Got it."

"Okay."

"Ne."

"Their mic better work this time."

The award show finally ended and I'm already fantasizing plopping onto my bed right after arriving at our dorm.

As our manager tipped us, we received the Best New Artist award and it definitely took away the stress from the microphone issues.

My members and I were walking back to our dressing room, all smiles and giggles this time.

"Ahhh you guys, we're the best new artists of 2016! Isn't that amazing?" Rosé exclaimed while jumping and up and down with her arms around us.

"I can't believe it! All those difficult trainee days are really starting to pay off." Jennie replied, a big grin plastered on her face.

"Excuse me." We all turned around upon hearing the male voice. It's him, the doe eyed guy.

I remembered him as BTS' Jungkook when I watched their performance earlier. Not gonna lie, I'm a secret fan.

He was holding a handkerchief that I immediately recognised and he met my eyes, "One of you dropped this."

I started to extend my arms when Chaeyoung spoke up.

"O-oh, that's mine..." The fuck. That's my hankie! Wait, she's blushing?

Jungkook shifted his attention to her as he handed her the hankie. He politely bowed to us, "Here you go. Congrats on your win. You did great." flashing a smile.

"Kook-ah! Let's go!" I recognized their leader Namjoon across the hallway. They seem to be in a hurry.

"I'm starving, what the hell. Hurry up." That must be Jin. Wow, he's really handsome. He smiled and bowed to us while yanking Jungkook's arm and they disappeared.

"Ooooh Chaeyoung-ah... did your crush just hold your hankie?" Jisoo says looking at Rosé who seems to be frozen in place.

"Crush? Is that why you claimed my hankie as yours?" I ask. Feeling slightly annoyed.

"W-what? Unnie, he's not my crush." Rosé counters, breaking from her daze and still blushing furiously.

She looks at me sheepishly. "This is your hankie? Ah... sorry Lili. Hehe. I thought it was mine." She was scratching her nape, obviously flustered.

"Pft, from how red your face is right now it's so obvious that you like that bunny guy from BTS." Bunny guy? Whatever, I'm tired.

"Well congrats, Chaeyoung. Seems like you won twice tonight." Jennie teased and Rosé slapped her arm.

"Unniiiies, please can we hurry up I'm tired already." I whined, suddenly feeling the exhaustion.

"Alright alright, maknae. Let's go. I'm starving for some chicken too." Jisoo fluffed my head and led the way.

"Here, I'm sorry I acted like that. I... I don't know what got into me." Chae pouts while handing me the hankie.

I sigh and give her a reassuring smile. "Keep it. I'm sure you wanna treasure something he's already touched." I laugh while nudging her teasingly.

She giggles. "Ahhh Lisa, you're such a supportive bestfriend."

"And you're cringey when you like someone." I stick my tongue out at her.

We laugh as we make our way to our dressing room.

We were on our way home as I was scrolling through our SNS on my phone and smiled at the congratulatory comments we were getting.

A lot of fans seem to have noticed the technical difficulties we had and lauded us for still finishing the performance nicely.

"That's BLACKPINK for you." I silently chuckled.
