Delilah's POV
Anne and I haven't really spoke much for the past 10 months, I mean we still speak , after all we do walk to and from school together. But due to the fact we don't have any lessons together apart from one lesson where we sit on opposite sides of the classroom due to the seating plan. I didn't really see her round school either, so we drifted apart. I've got close to Sophia, whereas Anne got close to Hannah. Kelly and Helen have gone their separate ways as well.
Sophia and I, have nearly all of our classes together so we spend a lot of time together. At the time I thought she was fun and likeable,we would always have a laugh but now looking back I realise how wrong I was about her. She always had to have her say in things and had to be right! She a bit too opinionated for me but I didn't really mind at the time, she would walk down the school corrider and be like :
'Did you see her eyebrows they were so bushy'
Or 'Omg she smells really bad, has she ever heard of a bath or a shower'
Or ' she really needs to wax her upper lip hair and those side burns!' and just things like that.
She was really clever so used to help me if I needed any help ;) Things would always go to far with her. We used to 'playfight', but things would always get out of hand. It would start as a playful push or slap on the arm and next minute she would be pulling my hair or start punching. I don't think she meant to take things to far but she did. I swear she was more male than female and had a lot of testosterone. We did have some good laughs and good times.
We used spend our lesson talking but, she would try and get me into trouble, she knew I liked to sit in peace, with the occasional conversation or just spend the lesson talking quietly, while still listening to what was being said by the teacher. I like to just get on with the work and I hated attention. But no she loved attention so she would try and get it any way possible! Usually the teacher would tell us of but, they knew that a was quiet when I wasn't with her so they wouldn't say anything to me, I guess being quiet has it good points, she was always the one who got told off( we more of a talk), most the teachers would say ' Delilah I know you aren't usually like this, I do believe that Sophia *looks at Sophia* seems to be influencing you. Or Sophia stop distracting Delilah! She would always get the blame as she was a 'bad influence'. haha. She could be quite a bitch at times, she would bitch about her close friends to me, which made me wonder if she did the same thing to me and bitched about me. I never thought to much about it. After all we all have fault or thing other people necessarily may not like, but she had her good qualities too like she was always help me out if I needed it, she was fun to be with a times, and she seemed like quite a caring person.
Me and Anne still went dancing but we didn't really speak much then. I made a new best friend, Charlotte, we met at dancing, she was two years older than me, and we used to spend most our time together. I would pretty much spend every weekend there. She used to have so many pets she had: 4 cats, 4 birds, 1 dog, 1 hamster and like 50 fish! Her family were nice her brothers had a couple of disabilities but nothing major, and her family were over weight apart from her, but they were really nice and always made me feel welcome. In the last year we had entered the dance production at school and we did it well and I got dancer of the year :) I was really happy about that. I am surprised I even entered the dance production I'm quite , shy and not very confident but I did it any way because Charlotte wanted to do it and she had never had anyone to do it with before.
The summer holidays came and nothing really happened, I obviously wasn't feeling very social because I did't go out with my friends much. I spent most of my time at my dads. My parents split up when I was seven, my dad got married and had two little boys and my step mom was really nice and she had a son , Blake with her ex- husband. At first we never really spoke to each other because we were both shy and quiet, but over time we became close and good friends. I did't really get to see my dad much as he lived an hour away and he worked a lot, so it was hard for me to go over and see them all, and plus my mom didn't try either. But I would go and see them all, in the holiday when I didn't have dancing. My dad used to get me anything I wanted, and spoilt me but I never really asked for anything. My dad and step mom spend all their money not thinking about saving any of it just in case they ever needed it for an emergency, or a rainy day. Even though they should of, as it would of caused a lot less hassle in what the future held for them...
