He was always after her , he was the shadow that followed her everywhere she was going , he was the weird stranger from the darkest corner of the building that kept watching her , he was the one that hunted her in her nightmares telling her again and again that she was his .
Even if Darlene felt her whole life that she was being watched , she never told anyone , she knew that if she would tell her mother she would probably think that she was going crazy , so she kept this secret to herself .
Unfortunately that was the biggest mistake that she ever made . Knowing she won’t say anything , he kept following her , haunting her , making her think that she was definitely insane . He kept showing up in her dreams , showing her how his life was , how the real life was , but she ignored him , she tried to push those thoughts to the back of her mind , but that spot , the spot in her brain full of thoughts about him , kept growing ..
It didn’t take long until all she was thinking about was how to get rid of him . But that didn’t make him stop , it only amused him . It amused him to see the fear in her eyes , to see how angry she can get , to see how the darkness absorbs her for a few moments . It was his dream , to see the darkest part of her soul , to see her trying to fight the darkness . She didn’t know that she couldn’t win even if she wanted to , the darkness would eventually win , he would eventually win .
She always tried to ask him ‘Why ? Why her?’ but he would just laugh and tell her she will find out in the future , sooner than she thinks .
