Twisted: Revamped

Chapter 3

While setting stuff in my locker a crowd forms near the school doorway. I notice Melissa walking up to me.

"Omg!!!" She screeches, "Guess who finally came to school?"

"Who, the golden boy?" I say obviously not interested in what she is rambling about.

"You could say that...." she says, "Oh, look he's coming this way."

I look past her and see what she is talking about. A boy, no, a guy, still not right, the guy, walks with his buddies in the school hallway. He is wearing a leather jacket, black jeans and a white shirt. On his left is a boy with dark brown hair and on his right is a boy with jet black hair. But that's not what my eyes where focusing on. I was staring at the golden boy himself......

"Drooling much." Melissa teases, I guess she noticed me staring at the golden boy.

"Pffff...no." I lie, obviously embarrassed that she caught me staring at him like that.

"C'mon Ree, just admit that he looks good."

"He's okay... " I manage to say. The thing is, I don't want Melissa to know that I'm developing a crush on this boy because she won't spare me.

"Hhmmmmm,okay indeed." she agrees. But I wasn't satisfied with the look she gave me.

Half way through the day, and I'm already feeling sick. I thought the rest of the day would go smoothly but I guess I was wrong.

I went to the washroom, while I was looking at myself in the mirror someone appeared behind me.

"Who are you?" I ask still staring at the mirror in awe. Boys aren't allowed in the girls bathroom, right? I think to myself. I look behind to see if it's not one of my imaginations again. Huh, so it's just my imagination.

"Aaaaaaaah," I scream, that person is still in the mirror. I look behind me just to be sure but no one is there. I turn and that person is still there now smiling at me. "What do you want and who are you?" I ask trying hard not to stutter.

"Suprised to see me dear because you don't seem happy at all." His voice sounds husky.

"What do you want from me and who the fuck are you!?" I ask now screaming at him.

"Now now my dear," he coos, "I just wanted to pay my little angel a visit."

"Who are...." I start, "in fact what are you?"

"Soon....soon." He vanishes in a puff of smoke. I splash water on my face and decide that I was just daydreaming because that can't be true.

"Hi..umm.. I was wondering if you could sign up to be a part of the drugs awareness campaign."

He's cute, I decide. Coffee is talking to you so focus.

"Uhh, well..... uhhhhm," (Wow trust me to stutter in front of a cute guy like Coffee).

"Sorry, I guess I didn't introduce myself very well. My name is Samuel Valdez but you can call me Sam." He thrusts out his hand at me.

I shake his hand and say, "And I'm Reena Jacobs..... call me Reena."

He chuckles lightly. "You very cute, anyways I'm still waiting for an answer."

He called me cute. "Sure but what do you do and how does it work, coz I'm really confused."

"Give me your digits and I'll text you the details, so there is no need to worry." Sam says.

"Sure." I take his phone and type my number into it. He saves me as "Ree".

"See you in math." And with that he disappears.

"Someone is in love." The familiar voice of Melissa comes frome behind me.

"C'mon Mel, don't be so dramatic about everything." I argue because leave everything to Melissa Gibson and it will be your doomsday.

"C'mon Ree don't be so drab about everything thing." I sigh forgetting who I'm arguing with.

"But I must say he is cute, and looks like he is interested in you."

"Mxm, no man, it's not like that." This girl won't understand.

"I know, don't worry, your secret is safe with me." And with that the bell rang.
