"Hey Nathan." Jeffrey greeted walking into the bar. Nathan waved a small smile on his face as he served some booze in a cup passing it over to a costumer.

Nathan handed Jeffrey a to do list:
1.clean tables
2.clean restrooms
3.serve booze
4.clean out attic

Jeffrey took the paper shoved it in his left pocket and took out a tooth pick from his right pocket.

"Talk to you later." Jeffrey said waving of and going to the restrooms. "Now where are the cleaning supplies?" Jeffrey asked scratching the back of his head. He walked into the restroom and saw three stalls and small wooden door, reaching out to open it he took a look around. "What a dump" he whispered under his breath chewing on the tooth pick.

An Hour Later-

"There I'm done with the restrooms." He stayed walking over to Nathen who was serving some beers to three men.

Nathan put his index finger up. Jeffrey furrowed his eyes brows in question. Nathan took out a paper and wrote "you forgot number one" Jeffrey read out loud.

"Oh right" Jeffrey said shrugging walking over to the rages at the far end of the table to the right. Jeffrey had an apron on and was cleaning the tables. After that he helped serve booze by the time less people started to show up it was already 3 a.m.

"The attic... you can clean it out and stay there." Nathan wrote on the paper.
"Nathan I can't." Jeffrey said in protest. Nathan simply gave him a pointed look he wasn't taking no for an answer.

"Nathan I can't I got someone staying with me." Jeffrey said taking of the apron and hanging it up.

"You can bring her here and she can also work and stay here if you'd like." Nathan wrote down giving him a sympathetic smile.

"How'd you it was a girl." Jeffrey asked curiously.

Nathan just gave a small smirk at him.

"Fine." Jeffrey said walking up to the door and waving a good bye.

Elizabeth's POV-

Elizabeth woke up on a sleeping back and a blanket on her. To her surprise Jeffrey wasn't there. To the right of her there was a can of peaches and a spoon with a knife and note.

"You should eat... I'm working so don't freak out I'll be back by five." Jeff

Elizabeth took the can and looked at it. She got up and stretched and folded the blankets.

Opening the can and eating she looked around the small simple tree house there was no bed, there was a wall full of books she realized they where mostly sketch books that where small, four books and as she walked around on the floor she was a peace of paper crumbled up. She picked it up and saw it was a sketch of herself.

It was a smiling sketch of herself she admired it she felt as though it looked to pretty to be her. 'Did he draw it?' She asked herself.

She sat down again realizing she didn't have a place to stay, clothes, or money. She sat there for a while lost in thought until she heard a motorcycle from a distance she new Jeff was back and she suddenly had a question of her own. 'Why did he help me?'

Sitting up she waited for him to walk in and she saw him he smiled at her. "How'd ya sleep?" He asked handing her a water bottle.

"F- fine, thank you." She said with a small smile. "How come you helped me?" She asked wanting to know the real reason.

Jeffrey looked at her before sitting down across from her. "Hmm well I know what's it's like being treated like shit so I guess I just wanted to help." He stated honestly.
