Yuuri Katsuki P.O.V

I've not long arrived home from the figure skating competition from five years ago. Minako just found out that I've gotten fatter while mum, dad and my eldest sister Mari all laugh at me.

Talking of siblings, I'm the youngest. Mari is the oldest and I have another sister as well. Her name is Haru.

I haven't seen her in six years. Haru was a world's skater. She even set records that not even Victor Nikiforov could beat. But she had an accident and got told she couldn't skate again.

In my opinion, I think that is a lie. The doctor that told her that she couldn't skate again, looked sceptical. It almost looked like he was happy her skating career was over. But the other thing is, she never broke her ankle, so I think the doctor told Haru a lie, but she doesn't believe me.

After that, Haru never left her room. It was a whole year from the accident and she never left her room. I never got to say goodbye to her when I left to go with my coach to train for the Nationals.

I don't know, if Haru came out or not from her room for these last five years. I've not been in Japan. So I asked.

"Mum, has Haru come out?"

Everyone faced me and gave me a sad look. From the sad looks that everyone is giving me, it means she hasn't be out for six years.

"No she hasn't." My father said sadly.

Mari then said, "she's put locks on her doors. We don't know when she done it or when she bought them, but we haven't seen her at all."

We all went silent for quite a while. Then one of the customer.

"She has every write to be in that room of hers. She needs to grieve."

"Yeah, but it's been six years!" Minako shouted at the customer.

The customer retorted back with, "Yeah she has. But she needs time to grieve. For some people it might take a day, a week, a month, a year even or more! You have to remember that her hobby and career was taken away from her by force. She can't skate anymore and she knows that, but she also knows that skating was her life. She didn't skate for competitions or for the medals. She skated because she felt free on the ice. I know this because she told me this seven years ago. Leave her be... She'll come out when she is ready..."

The customer is right. Haru's life was all about skating. She loved it because she felt free...

But she can never be free anymore...

She can never glide on the nice...

And it makes me sad that her dream was taken away from her. And it's sad that I have to see my big sister like this.
