"Um, it's fine but a lot changed since you were gone." I said and now looked in his ocean blue eyes. "Like what?" He asked, his eyes staring back at me. "U-m.. Like, I don't wear some ugly clothes anymore." I said with a slight smile. "I noticed, you're looking hot actually." He whistled after. "Shut up." I punched him. "Wow. You still punch like a-" He stopped and grabbed my arm. "Hey!" I exclaimed but his grip tightened. "Why?" He asked and I pulled back my hand as tears started forming. "Don't ask." I whispered. He only moved closer as I cried, he held me close. In five years I had no-one to talk to, no-one to just, hold me. I hugged him tight. "Thank goodness you're back." I sobbed. "If I should've known. Do you need the paper bag?" He whispered. I shook my head with a slight smile. He really remember me, my asthma and my love for bananas. "Wait, who was the guy who was a bit tall, was he your neighbor?" I froze at his question. "He's.. no-one. I don't like him either." I shrugged.
The loud music played again and we jumped. "Is he always like that?" He asked, "Yeah. Until tomorrow." I groaned. "I'm sorry about him, but where are you going to sleep?" I asked, raising my eyebrows at him. "Can I sleep here? I want to spend time with you." I smiled softly at his words. He truly is my big brother. "Stay as long as you want."
School Daaaaaay
"So. You're the new student. Mm.. Me likey." The snake a.k.a Tanie a.k.a. Brent's girlfriend said, wow. Does she even see me? "Me want to puke on your shirt." Ray answered while rolling his eyes. He grabbed my hand. "Oh. Woah. Wait. You're with her?" She asked, looking at her frogs. I mean, friends. "Yeah. She's my bestfriend." Tanie rolled her eyes. "Well Brent has another person to bully." She snarled before acting sweet. "Are they bothering you babe?" I froze. He can't see Brent yet. Ray let go of my hand and turned around. I closed my eyes. "You." Ray said, "Ray.. Ray? Ray! It is you. What's up bro?" Brent asked shocked. I opened my eyes. Ray looked at me, "Um." I turned around and saw Brent. "Go ahead. Tell him." Brent smirked. I bit my lip and gulped, turning my head to Ray. "He-He's Brent. Rivera." Ray's eyes widened. "What?" He asked while eyeing Brent up and down.
"Holy crap, man. I didn't even recognized you." Ray smiled, Brent smirked. "Go find other guys babe, he ain't available." Tanie huffed and left with her friends. I stood awkwardly. Oh how I wish he knows he bullies me. "Sorry for snapping at you the first time I got here." Ray said. "Ray. Can we go?" I asked. "Wait. Why aren't you together?" I blinked as I opened my mouth. "What?" Brent asked. "Together like, friends. Or something." Brent coughed. "A lot changed." Brent said coldy as he stared at me with cold eyes. Ray didn't seem to notice and kept talking to Brent. He always give me that look, even though I didn't do anything to him. Ray finally stopped. "Well. I'll see you around, seems like you're not friends with um, Chandy. Anymore." Ray stuttered as he pulled me away. "That was so awkward. What happened?" He asked, "Trust me, I have no idea." I said rolling my eyes.
