❝I can't be the Barbara Palvin to your Francisco Lachowski.❞
You see it in every Wattpad book. The bad boy did this, the bad boy did that, all ending in the main character falling for the bad boy, right? Of course, this isn't reality.
You don't see...

"I see you're still just as bitchy, Val." Aaron said as I watch the showdown going on in front of me. So, this is what I've been missing at parties.
Valerie looks baffled by the mere thought of it. "Me? Bitchy? Never." That's one of my favorite things about Valerie. She knows she's bitchy. She owns up to it. Aaron never stays with her for too long though. He is a fuck boy after all.
"I just came to find Harley, not to talk to you." Aaron glances at Harley, sending another signature smirk.
I swear she basically melted after hearing him say that. I wanted to shake my head at how gullible she was being. Does she not realize he's just going to use her? Even after everything I've told her, she still can just as easily fall for it.
I don't know how much more I can take of this. The basic one-liners back and forth really get old, don't you think?
"Shame, I thought she was cool but looks like she has really low standards." Valerie narrows her eyes even more as Aaron laughs to himself.
"You must have low standards too then because you were all over me last night, babe." Aaron smirked as Valerie's eyes widened.
"You're a fucking-"
"Yo. I think I'm going to head out now. It's a school night. I mean it's already nine. How am I expected to get 8 hours at this rate?" I interrupt Valerie and immediately regret it. She turns her attention to me and heat rushes to my face.
I hear Aaron's stifled laughter as Valerie continues to stare daggers at me.
"You do realize nobody gives a fuck, right?" Her glare doesn't falter as she utters the most terrifying words I have ever heard. Her voice drips with venom and mean bitch energy.
"Huh?" is the only response I come up with before turning away from her, embarrassed through and through. Now looking at Harley as Valerie continues to glare at me I ask, "Do you need a ride back?"
Harley looks at Aaron and shakes her head, raising her eyebrows at me and then at Aaron. Raised eyebrows always has something to do with sex, I think. Noted.
"Okay, um...yeah, this was so much fun. I loved the showdown. Way more entertaining than Netflix, am I right?" I close my mouth quickly, realizing I'm not much of a people person. Valerie has not stopped glaring at me and Aaron laughs.
"See you around, Dez. I'll text you for more info about our little talk earlier." Aaron smirks, knowing that he just humiliated me in front of Valerie and Harley.
