Chase POV
Its been a few days since phase 2 of the tour ended and I'm back home. I haven't seen Haley in few weeks so I thought I'd take her out on a surprise date.
Last night I texted Kayla to make sure Haley stayed home and got her ready for our surprise date and I'm hoping it worked Cause Haley hates staying home. I should probably text her and see if things went as planned.
To Kayla: Hey is everything going as planned??
From Kayla: Yes she's fixing her hair rn so try to be here in a few before she tries to take a nap.
To Kayla: word. I'm omw
I grab my wallet and give myself one last look on the mirror fixing the part in my hair and head out the door
- 10 minutes late-
"UNCLE CHASE " Daniel screams running towards me. "Hey bub" I pull him into and tight hug.
"CHASE?"
"DANIEL MOVE OUT OF THE WAY THAT MY MAN"
I quickly put Daniel down and catch Haley. "Bitch I missed you," she says wrapping her legs around my waist." I missed you to babe" I chuckle. Damn, she smells good. She hops off me and smiles up at me. "So this is why Kayla told me to get ready".
"Yup" she does a quick dance and straightens herself out." So where we going."
"It's a surprise all you gotta know is we eating good." She turns and grabs her purse off the couch. "You ready to go?" I ask throwing my arm over her shoulder.
She plans a kiss on lips "yes" I push the door open and let her walk out first.
"Dammmnn mamas you look good."
She giggles" I know" she winks at me before getting into the car.
Kayla POV
"Guess its st me and you bub"
He nods and continues to play with his blocks. It's getting time for dinner but I'm not trying to cook tonight." hey babes do you wanna get Boston market for dinner?"
"YESSS. CAN WE GET MASHPOTAOES" I smile grabbing my keys and our shoes."yes we can"
"Word." My head snaps in his direction " since when do you say that?"
"Daddy says it all the time." He says sliding his shoes on. They've been facetiming every day before bed and Anthony is starting rub off on him."Mommy, is daddy ever gonna live with us?" Fuck, how do I even answer this? "Uhh, I don't know babes. Daddy has his own house." He nods" will I ever see daddy in real life"
"Uh, baby we would have to talk about that with daddy. I grab his hand walk him to the car and open the car door placing him in his car seat. "Mommy, why aren't you and daddy married?" I want to tell him the truth but I don't want to ruin the way he sees Anthony. "Uh daddy had to go somewhere and we never git the chance to."
"Oh, so you guys are gonna get married now?" I roll my eyes. "Boy stop asking so many questions. This isn't 21 questions." I close the door and hop into the drives seat.
Haley POV
"CHASE STOP PULLING ME YOU GANNA MAKE US-" oh I'm gonna kill this man. Chase gets up and helping me trying to hold back a laugh. "Here let me help. Your hair us even" He chuckles. "Mhm" I glare as he fixes the left side of my head."let's go get some food princess." Okay, I forgive him." I hurry to get off the rink so I take my skates off. "I knew that would make you happy" I flash him my biggest smile.
-20 minutes
"Can I have an XXL grilled stuffed burrito combo #2 and she'll have-"
"And I'll have 2 of the chalupa cravings boxes." The cashiers' eyes go wide. " Damn I like me a girl who can eat." He winks at me and I mentally gag. " How do you think he won my heart?" I kiss Chases cheek. "Bet I could treat you better."
"Not on that taco bell salary"Chase cackles. "I'm gonna go find us somewhere to sit," I say trying to hold in a laugh.
-a few minutes later-
"Babe you didn't have to snap like that." We both laugh. "I know but he needed to be put in his place."
After a little, we got our food and began to eat."So how was the tour." His eyes immediately light up and he put his taco down."It was amazing. The fans were so sweet and the shows were lit as fuck. the boys and I had a lot of good moments. It sucks that we all live in different places though. I already miss Noen." I nod. " how was juice wrld?"
"It was wild we had a great time. What have you been up to?" Uhhhg he's so cute. I don't ight have to let him tap tonight."Nothing just work and school."
"Oh shit, I forgot about that you were still in school." I laugh. "A bitch is still in art school."
