Chapter One | A Father's Worry
Apollo didn't plan for this. Really he didn't. He didn't think it was going to turn out this way. He was currently bringing his youngest son and daughter, Don and Kiana to Camp Half-blood to be protected.
"Daddy, another monster." Don said as Chiron walked up to us.
"No, little one. I'm Chiron. Hello, Lord Apollo, these two must belong to you." Chiron said.
"Yes, these two are Don and Kiana, my children. They need to be protected. There is a prophecy about them." I said as I handed Kiana to Chiron.
"May I ask about the prophecy?" Chiron asked.
"No, just protect them until I figure things out." I answered.
"Yes, Lord Apollo." Chiron said.
"Thank you, Chiron." I said bend over to eye level with Don. "Be good for daddy and look after your sister okay. You'll be around all your big brothers and sisters soon." I said to him.
"Okay, daddy." Don said.
"Good boy. I love you." I said giving a hug.
"I love you too." Don said.
I stand up and place Don on Chiron.
"Be good for Chiron." I said, turning away from them and walking out of the camp.
