14: Truth

Your POV

The rest of the school day went fine. I walked home without Peter. For some reason I thought he could be the reason Reality was weirdly reacting. I went home and told Wanda about it and she told me it was just cause of all the new people. But something still doesn't feel right.

I decided that I should go out on with my suit and get my mind off of thing. Who knows maybe I will run into Peter.

I get all of my suit on and walk out into living room where Wanda was watching TV.

"I'm going to go out." I say walking to the wall.

"You know if you leave that way people might see you like peter saw you." She counters

"Yea but that comes with his senses, I can move faster than I did the other night." I say putting my hand through the wall.

"Fine, just don't do anything to bring up that drama again about you being a Villain. Tony would have to shut it down again and that would lead to suspicions about why Tony is so protective of you."

" Yea yea yes, okay I will be careful, bye." I say as I quickly make myself as invisible as I can and float myself into the sky.

I am now pretty high up so I make myself fully visible. I just start flying around hoping to find some small crime. I am so used to doing big alien attacks that I never really did small things. Because of how strong my powers are I was only used for the really big attacks.

I have been flying around for about 15 minutes when something sticky hit my leg. I stopped flying and turned around. I saw Spider Boy sitting on the edge of the building holding a string of web that is attached to me. I made the Web disappear and I flew over to him.

It was a fairly tall building and nobody was up there. He walked over to me and took off his mask. There was that thing again with Reality. It felt like it was twitching out of control. did this have something to do with Peter. It couldn't be him, everything was fine when I used to be around him, nothing has really changed. Im just going to try to over look this and hope it goes away.

"So you think that since I know who you are you can just take your mask off in public." I say playfully rolling my eyes, trying to forget about whatever reality is doing that is making me nervous.

"We are on a tall building with nobody else." he says getting closers to me so that we are now about a foot apart. " So we don't have to worry about that." While he said that he took his hand to my mask and pulled it down. Reality started freaking out and was sending weird signals all throughout my body.

Reality must have been dong that weird thing where a light moves around that stone, it does that when I get nervous, or when it makes me nervous. Whatever it was doing made Peter glance down and stare as the stone.

"Is everything alright. The stone seems to be moving around, or the whatever that little light inside of the stone is called."

"yea everything is fine, I think it is just freaking out a bit because we were finalizing some of the things with our parents death and everything."

"Wait why would that have anything to do with the stone?"

I let out a sigh, now I have to tell him. that way he can tell if my emotions are out of wack or something. This way he can understand. Maybe this was what the stone was trying to tell me. Perhaps it is telling me to open up to him about how the stone works.
