-damien pov-
i was just minding my own business, flying my ship to the next solar system when i get a warning of a meteor shower. near earth. and i, being the hero i am, flew through the jump point to that solar system so that i could save earth from a probable catastrophe. but before we get into all that, introductions. i am damien haas, a.k.a star-lord. i am from georgia. kinda.
ya see, my father is a celestial and that basically means that he has these crazy powers, and being descended from him, i have those powers too. which means, i am half earth-born, half demi-god. my father is also technically a planet. i still don't get how it works, but oh well. i was also kidnapped at a very young age by space pirates called ravengers and forced into galactic thievery. anyways, back to my little story.
i get to the solar system that earth is kept in, and start firing at the meteors, destroying them relatively quickly. then, when i think i'm done i lean back in my chair, allowing myself to relax. but, my luck, a stray meteor hits the wing of the ship and tears it clean off, sending me and my ship crashing down to earth.
after thirty minutes of what felt like perpetual falling, i finally crash to the ground, and, once again, my luck, i crash in someone's backyard. a blonde guy comes out and sees the wreck, just staring in awe. then he spots me, running over and helping me out of the debris. he slowly helps me to my feet, helping me inside his house and sitting me down on his couch. "so... what happened here?" he asks politely. i reply with "well, if i told you, you'd probably laugh and call me crazy and delusional." and he chuckles, looking at me. "nah, i've been a pretty strong believer of aliens my whole life, so i'm sure that what you've got is perfectly sane to me." he chuckles again as he smiles at me, his smile is extremely adorable and he is really cute, may i add. "okay." i smile as i start to explain the story of what happened to him.
after a few minutes of explaining, he looks at me and frowns. "that sucks." he says, pulling me into a surprisingly warm, comfortable, soft hug. i hug back, replying to his statement. "yeah, it's pretty bad." he pulls away, looking at me again. "so, what's your name?" he questions. "damien haas, but i'm mostly known as star-lord up in space land." he chuckles at how i refer to space and smiles at me. "well, star-lord, i'm shayne topp, and you are more than welcome to stay here while you get your ship fixed." i smile back at him. "really?" i say almost excitedly. he chuckles. "of course!"
"but it will take a few weeks, maybe a few months with the state it's in right now..." i add. "eh, a little company can't hurt, can it?" he smiles at me. "thank you so much, shayne... where will i be sleeping?" i question. "i have a spare room, but it's pretty small, so you can have my room and i'll sleep in the spare room." he starts to walk upstairs as i follow on. "no, i couldn't possibly take your bed from you... how about we share your room? sleeping in the same bed shouldn't do us any harm." he smiles at my suggestion. "sounds good, star-prince." i chuckle at his joke as he shows me his room, pointing to his king-sized bed. "this is what we'll be sharing. and by the way, if you feel me cuddling you when we sleep, i'm sorry. i haven't had a guy in so long." he frowns but i hug him. "cuddle me all you like, shayne. i'm fine with it, promise." i smile at him as he smiles back. "well, i'd better start dinner. do whatever you'd like while you wait." he smiles again and walks out of the room. i lay down on the bed and sigh happily, thinking about shayne and how adorable he is.
