You never had a chance to take risks. You were stuck with the same formula everytime for everything you've done. You can say it's an excuse to say you've never had a chance when in reality you've had plenty. You just didn't had the courage to take them.

You thought not yet. Just not yet. Let you be comfortable and do the things in the same order you've always done them. Then later you'll start.

But as a building came close to view from behind the dense woods, you knew you wouldn't have a chance. And this time it wasn't an excuse.

Taking risks were too dangerous now. It wasn't seen as something to better your life and grow anymore. It was seen as something that you could die from. It was even dangerous to do the same formula you've stucked with my whole life. Only until you get better, you couldn't do anything.

"Hello Ms. L/n. It's a pleasure to have you at our facility."

You shook the warm hand in front of you, staring at their name tag and not their eyes. You weren't very good at making eye contact.

"It's a pleasure to meet you too." I said with a small voice.

You were nervous but tried not to show it. As long as they don't keep asking you questions, you'll be fine. Yoy started to walk alongside the person with the warm hands.

You wers staring at their name tag the whole time and but still didn't know their name.

Someone help you.

"You'll have a lot of time to explore the campus while you're here. But for the next few days you'll have to do some tests and start on your treatment. It'll be a bit rough but I promise you after everything you'll have enough time to enjoy yourself as a resident at Crescent Woods."

Warm hands gave you a smile after his explanation. You gave one back but still no eye contact.

"Thank you."

You both kept walking to the end of the hallway until you stopped at a door.

"You'll be staying here."

You nodded my head and walked further inside. It was a normal size hospital room. The walls weren't traditional white but were a warm beige. There was a bathroom and a window that look out the front of the building. But if seemed already occupied with several belonging on the shelves And there were two. . . beds?

"This campus is small but lively with patients. A bit too much in fact. Because of that you'll have a roommate."

You gulped. You're not too fond of the idea of a roommate. The last time you had one. . .
