Chapter 3

I was woken up by Marcel shaking me, he helped me stand up. "It's time for you to go get fitted, up and at em." Being extremely sore, he helped me get undressed and dressed which we were both blushing messes.

Aliyah popped in when I was being helped put on my shoes, "five minutes and then we gotta leave! We'll get breakfast on the way there!" She looked stunning in her midnight blue dress, it hugged every curve perfectly. I told her okay and I turned to leave but Marcel put his hand on my waist, I looked at him confused but he put his lips on mine.

His lips on mine felt as if fireworks were exploding around us.

We pulled away, trying to catch our breaths, but we were both smiling.

The shop appeared to be your normal, average dress shop. It had the white bridal dresses on display in the windows, I wish I could be a normal human as a Bride with an amazing dress.

Aliyah, Kelly who was Wildcat's mate, and I made our way in. The place stunk of wolf, I growled slightly and Aliyah just put a hand on my shoulder, the human women in the shop stared at us three when we went into the back of the shop. In the back room, an old grey wolf was laying on the stool. We all got on one knee and bowed our heads, it was Elder Simmy; the one who conducts Mating Rituals.

"Your greatness, Elder Simmy." I said, she nodded and got down from her stool. I allowed her to touch my hand with her nose and went over to a rack of dresses. We all heard the Elder Wolf's transformation as she emerged with a black dress bag.

She placed it in my arms, "here, child."

I thanked her and was led from the room to the dressing room where the humans were, I entered and got into the dress, twirling around in it. In the mirror, I looked like a Princess, the black dress looked amazing. It was a little puffy on the skirt part but it was okay.

The other women stared at me as I emerged, they were in awe. Aliyah and Kelly squealed, "of course, Elder Simmy was right," Kelly whispered and we all burst out into giggles. I got changed again and I left the dress here to get it sized to the perfect fit and then we left to go to a restaurant.

"Well, ladies, people are going to be surprised Monday when Y/N and Marcel walk in as a couple." Kelly said as we got seated.

Aliyah and I agreed and we ordered our waters and talked when we were approached by a group of men, we all rolled our eyes and chuckled. "Here we go." I whispered, they stunk of human smells that made me gag a little.

"Hey, ladies, mind if we sit down?" One asked, Kelly nodded her head.

"Actually, yes, we do mind."

They seemed taken aback, "excuse me?"

Kelly stood up and faced them, "we do mind. Please, don't sit with us, we are all taken and are having a very important meeting." I just sipped my water, staying silent. They gave me a pleading look and I just shook my head, continuing with my water.

They just walked away murmuring, "what a fucking bitch" and other profanities. Kelly just shook her head, "if only they knew." She mumbled. Soon, the waiter came and took our orders, we all ordered steaks at a bleu level which made the waiter say "are you sure?" I giggled and confirmed it and we all talked.

I propped my chin on my hand, "so...how did you two meet Wildcat and Nogla?" Kelly went first.

"I met Wildcat a little bit after he joined the pack. I joined shortly after him and I secluded myself and thought of myself as the Omega. Wildcat didn't stop until he made me crack my shell and talk to somebody, but I usually talked with him. He introduced me to his friends and I became social and learned how to stand up for myself. One day, we were talking by the Holy Lake and we confessed our love to each other; that night was magical, we laid on the ground and talked until morning with me in his arms. I then learned that the pack doesn't have ranks except for Omegas accepted to the pack. Other than that, we're all equal besides Wildcat and Vanoss and Marcel for being the top of the pack."

Aliyah and I 'awed' and then Aliyah herself began on her story.

"Well, I was a lone wolf. I would kill only when I needed it, slept where I wanted to, and did what I wanted. I was bathing in the pond outside the cave and I didn't realize that I stepped into Vanoss' territory; I was attacked by Marcel and Brian who brought me to Vanoss. They kept me as prisoner and the only two who took pity on me were Kelly and Nogla, I leaned both their stories but I was fascinated with Nogla's; he was on his way to a lab in America on a boat but managed to escape. Eventually, we fell in love and he marked me as his mate. Vanoss made me swear to be a loyal and that's what I became, if it meant staying close to him."

Kelly and I smiled and 'awed'. "What about you, Y/N?"

"Well, I was born to the pack across the lake. I had a good life besides the Alpha taking advantage of me by throwing me around, but if I fought back then I would be killed. Our pack for into a war and my father was recruited to fight and he was taken as a criminal, I was forced to watch him be killed. My Mother raised my older sister and I, I did well in school and one day I was told that I was chosen as an offering to your pack to keep peace. And then, you guys know the rest."

Aliyah put a hand on my wrist and offered a small smile, the waiter came out with our steaks and people whispered at us as we ate; it was tough using a fork and knife because usually I would use my paws or fangs. I took a sip of my water to wash the blood off of my teeth, I could tell that Kelly and Aliyah were doing the same thing.

We finished our steaks and went through the park into the woods, as soon as we crossed the tree line we made sure the coast was clear before we all shifted and began running in the direction of the cave. Aliyah was a light grey wolf and Kelly had light blonde fur. When running beside the lake, we all stopped abruptly; humans fishing on the lake. We backed into the woods and Kelly transformed human.

"Hey!" Kelly motioned us to stay back and approached the family, I listened carefully.

"Excuse me, but you aren't allowed to fish here." Kelly said.

"I'm sorry, but this is a public lake, we can do as we please." The woman sneered, Kelly just laughed.

"No, you can't. This I'd Holy, sacred ground to the wolves in the area, I'm going to have to ask you to leave."

"Says who? There's no regulations." The man said.

Kelly whistled and looked over her shoulder, motioning us. Aliyah and I emerged out of the woods, low to the ground and snarling, "this is the Holy Lake of the wolf packs around these parts. Please, leave." They family was frozen in fear before Kelly jerked her head, they got to work and walked a few feet around us before they disappeared into the treeline. Kelly jerked her head at me and I knew what that meant, make sure they were gone.

I trotted swiftly, careful to avoid the invisible boundary line. They were no where in sight, I took one last look and made my way back to Kelly and Aliyah who were talking. I nodded and in our wolf forms, we trotted back to the cave.

"You should have seen the look on his face!" Kelly cackled, Aliyah and I were laughing harder than ever.

We entered the cave and Marcel, Tyler, and Vanoss were in a discussion but it paused when they saw us entering.

They questioned us and Kelly explained the our whole day. Marcel kept looking at me with a smile on his face.
