Hope

8 2 1

He tries to help rebuild the garden

On and on he goes trying fix the water

People come rallying to become battle harden

Everyone's support and help truly matters.

I brought a gift to the earth

Life

I pray for joy for the earth

But for me, it's a roll of the solemn dice.

I cannot touch my creation or its life

For I am not the father of it, merely watched its birth

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Hello, thank you for reading a new one, hope you enjoyed it. Not my best work but still meaningful to me. Listen, I know the earth ain't in the best shape but let me tell you, we gotta have hope. Without it, we are lost in the darkness as if floating in space without or precious earth. So I ask a few simple things, some of which are cliché.

A: Use sun screen that has no Oxybenzone or oxinoxate (instead use mineral based suns screen with a titanium dioxide base. It may sound hard but it's as simple as reading the label for ingrediants)

B: Use less fossil fuels which increase climate change (I know you may be thinking I'm just one person, but one can spread into many like roots from a seed)

C: Use less plastics of any kinds (It may be very difficult but if we continue the way we do, plastic will out number the fish in the sea)

D: Spread these facts and options to friends and family. I could care less if you spread the poems or my work. But these facts are the key to keeping our oceans and our air healthy. Coral reefs alone account for making 25% of our oxygen.

Thank you and See you soon :)
