It was just a normal day at Eustis Middle School. A boring class with boring work and the confusion of why I had to do it...or so I thought. Let me elaborate. Its about 9:30 on a bright yet chilly fall morning. I arrive at my testing site and it turns out.. I don't have to take the math FCAT at all! Exciting right? Well it would be if I didn't have to answer a 65 question Algebra 1 Assignment. As I think to myself in a sarcastic tone "Oh Great!!! More work." I walk down the artificial grass aligned concrete sidewalk into the Gymnasium, sit in the bleachers, and dread every moment on my mathematical "Adventure".
"Done!" I think to myself. "Finally, I have some peace." As I begin to lean back in my seat I hear brightly beside me " Hey! You look smart. Do my work?" That request was made by none other than my gorgeous crush (who I'd been crushing on for 4 years) Lindsey Sanders. Being the suck-up that I am I quickly shout "Sure!" With and cheesy smile on my face.
I'm finally done writing down all of the answers.... Again. In my mind I argue whether or not I should ask for her number as I hand back the paper with that awkward smile and sweat combo going on. Little did I know she had the same idea because instead of thanking me she says "Do you have a Kik?" And this my friends... is the start to a beautiful relationship.
