Ava's P.O.V

Emeail mumbles a thanks as I hand him his four scoops of ice cream. Choclate, SaltedCaramel, Oreo and Barone flavours with a extra flake for moral support. I got exactly the same but with mini marshmellows instead of a flake. I carefully take my seat in an empty swing next to him. Suddenly we couldn't just talk like nothing mattered. We couldn't laugh about the smallest things. We couldn't be making weird faces and comments to eachother. Everything changed ... I changed ...

The wind blows a small strand of hair in my face as the sunsets with the only noise being the old swingset's groans. I watch as the sun slowly bleeds into night, bruising the sky with purple and blue. The small groups of kids on the round about, spin themselves nauses. That used to be me. I thought and wonder if Emeail did that as well when he was younger.

"Do you still want to be friends with me?" Emeail barely breaks the silence with his whisper.

I looked at him. His jawline was beautifully highlighted in the orange glow and his eyes sparked distantly. His hair was slightly more messy and his hands were slightly shaking. I didn't think I'd mean this much to him. I mean yeah, he kissed and I kissed back and yeah, he's worried when I stay out late and yeah, he cares about me bjt that doesn't mean anything does it?

"Of course I want to be friends with you, the real question is; do you want to be friends witn me?" I reply as if if's nothing but internally I'm scared of what his awnser could be.

"Does friends with benifits count?" He teases and I look at him horrified.

"I am a LADY!" I state almost yell and lightly slap his arm playfully.

"Yeah, well, it's worth a shot." He laughs but then turns to me suddemly serious.

His serious expression makes me squirm and I gulp unable to handle his intense eyes.

"But on a serious note though, I want to be more than friends ..." his voice is calm and plesant, almost warming mg skin.

I look at him through my lahses as my red cheeks pull my lips upward. I slightly push myself back before lifting my feet again.

"Oh..." is all I managed to say.

Oh? Really Ava? That's the best you could do? Oh?! Why do you even bother trying to expand you vocabulary...

"I mean, I'd like to be more than friends aswell ..." I awnser emberrased but when Emeail doesn't reply I began to think thet he was second guessing everything now.

"So, let's make this offical." I looked up as Emeail rose up and took my hand lifting me as well, he gave a quick bad caugh,"Ava, will you be my girlfriend?"

I watched as his eyes glowed in the sunset light. I felt jealous of his perfect features and warm body. His hair messily falling over eachother with a slight navy-ish look in the sun. His cheekbones where defined just enough to look hot with his tan skin. His eyes resembled a calm day at the beach with a slight salty breeze. Waves of excitment and anticipation dove onto the sands of hope.

The fluffy partial foam being joy. His hands are warm against my skin, almost in a same way as it would feel next to a fire at a late summers night. It comforting as well, reassuring in a way. It reminds me of my childhood where I would always plah tag with Kyle when dad made his awesome BBQ steaks and mom would chat with him about her week at the office. He'd always get confused by the names but she never noticed.

"Yes, I would love to be you girlfriend." Is state shyly.

Emeail smiles brightly before gently tugging at my hands and kissing my forehead. Maybe this could be the next greatst tkme of my life. Maybe it could be the worst. Maybe just maybe everything will drastically change ... all for the better...
