After Colby's friends got off the ride the worker opened the gate to let us on. He let me go first and I sat down in my seat. Colby sat down next to me and the worker started to buckle us in. I could feel Tessa looking at us, probably smiling because she knew I thought he was hot.

We were all strapped in and the worker backed away. The awkward silence made me uncomfortable. I was on a ride that I'm going to 'ugly scream' on next to a hot guy who is probably all tough and stuff. Colby glances over at me and smiled, his smile could make a whole room light up. I smiled at him too and the worker started to count down.

"3...2...1..."

When the count hit one I felt a hand grab my own. I glanced over to see Colby looking at the ground, his eyes wide, as we were being pulled back up into the air.

The ride started moving faster and my hand gripped his harder; his rings on his fingers started to hurt my hand. I was screaming while laughing and my hair was flying all over the place. Colby kept saying "oh my god," over and over again.

The ride started to slow down and I looked at Colby. He glanced back at me. "Oh god...," he said. The ride came to a stop on the top. Our cart was now swinging back and forth with the wind.

"I hate this," I stated looking over at Colby. He nodded in agreement. "Soooo, I'm guessing you're here with your friends?" I asked trying to start small talk so that I don't freak out.

I guess he understood and replied, "yea. My friends Sam and Kat were the ones who got off before us. And my friends who are getting off now are Elton and Corey. Who are you here with?"

"Oh I came with my best friend Tessa and her boyfriend Noah, hence why I ride alone." He chuckled.

"Yea I feel that. We go on a lot of scary rides. Of course it's always Sam and Kat together. Then Corey is too scared to go by himself so he makes Elton ride with him, so I pretty much am always alone unless Kat doesn't ride it," he explains. I nod and the ride jerks. "Shoot!" He screams out. "God I hate that..." I laugh at him. The ride starts back up and spins around again. A few seconds in I feel his hand find mine again. His rings were cold against my skin.

The ride finally comes to a stop and Colby lets go of my hand. I see that now Tessa and Noah are next in line and she definitely saw that. Now I'll have to hear all about it. The worker unhooks Colby's harnesses and he stands up. "God I'm dizzy," he laughs and waits for the worker to unhook me. I stand up and start to walk towards the exit. I was still dizzy and I tripped over the step at the exit gate. As I was falling I felt hands grasp around my waist. He steadied me and I turned around and looked up at him.

"Thanks," I said blushing from embarrassment. Now Tessa and Noah were being strapped in. I glanced over to her and Tessa was grinning at me.

"Not a problem," Colby says pausing between each word. We get to the exit and all of Colby's friends are standing there taking pictures with random people.

"OH MY GOD COLBY!" One of the teenage girls screamed. She ran over and Colby met her halfway. How does she even know him?

"Hi, it's nice to meet you." He says pulling her into a hug. She asks for a picture and Kat takes it for her.

"Thank you," she says and hugs him again, before returning to the others. Colby turns back around and walks over to me.

A/N: sorry for taking so long. Was pretty busy. I'll try to post more. #TheOrigin part 2 comes out today!!! I'm so excited. Let me know what you think of this part in the comments!
