Donnie woke up the next morning.

He was still on the couch were him and his family were watching Leo show space hero's.

The screen was playing the into of the show lighting the dark home in a hollow light.

Donnie whipped his eyes of sleep, and looked around to see his brothers still on the floor and wrapped in their own blankets.

His brown eyes looked down to see you under his chin and tucked perfectly under his shell.

A smile played on his face as a blush appeared on his face, you hadn't rejected Donnie's touch, it made his heart flutter.

The blanket had fallen slipped a little from shifts in their sleep.

You weren't really asleep, you had woken up in the middle of the night from a nightmare but when you woke up it was like you were stuck in a trance for hours.

You knew Donnie was awake, you could feel his heartbeat through your scales and his shifts has he gets the blanket over you.

You then rolled back to much and fell of the couch when Donnie failed to catch you.

A thump could be heard and your head flinched back into the floor.

Your eyes open to meet Donnie's worried brown ones, you gave him a thumbs up and a lazy but sleepy smile.

He started to laugh after he saw you were okay, you crossed your arms with a huff and looking away.

At least the morning was normal from then.

After everything that's happened your glad something normal happened, well normal enough for a mutant turtle.

You didn't eat breakfast again, you got used to not eating everyday since your father had trained your body to go without for days by letting you starve.

Right now you were in the dojo with Splinter and using some wooden, non blade Chakram's for training.

Splinter was impressed at the level you showed, it was more than he could give his son's but you are in a different situation.

Raph walked in and saw you training with Splinter, his smile widened, he's been wanting to spar with you ever since the day before when he saw your skill

When fighting with Splinter, he used the most random objects for you to hit, once he used small ping pong balls and made them bounce of the wall and make you hit them.

Though it was a lot more fun than your father's training when he made you fight Kraang bots and if you missed or failed, he would shock you for five minutes.

This time though Splinter made you hit the falling leaves of the blossomed tree because they are unpredictable in their movements, he did have a point.

The thing is that they didn't fall very often but you stayed patient, Splinter knew that the leaves of the tree wouldn't fall for a while but wanted to see your patience level.

Let's say it was higher than all the brother combined.

"Hey Kai, wanna spar one Vs one?"

Splinter turned to Raphael but you paid attention to the tree leaves just waiting for one to fall like when you waited for your father to walk through that door and take you away.

"Kai?, Why the name Raphael?"

You answered back, a leaf finally fell and it moved down closer to your height, you moved your Chakram's under to try and control the leaf before slicing it into the floor.
