when i heard the employee saying that the iced caramel coffee was ready i went to pick it up, but then I grabbed her hand instead... wait... wHAT?!
'oh im sorry' is what i herd her stammer with a deep yet soft voice. she quickly pulled away her hand and looked down stepping back.
-"oh right this is yours..." i handed it to her.
-"no no its alright, you take it, i can wait." she insisted.
and that's when our eyes met...
although her skin was dark, I could still see a slight blush on her cheeks. she kept staring at me, exanimating me. and that made me smile a little.
and that's when i saw her smile...
and i don't know why but it made me smile even wider.
-"you don't seem to be from here..." i spoke first.
-"oh thats right, i just came to visit a friend..." she said smiling.
-"your iced caramel coffee is ready" i heard the employee say.
i automatically felt a little anger and worry. i guess i just didn't wanted her to leave so soon thats all...
-"why don't you stay for a little longer?"
-"oh, uhm... sure!~"
