Cally's POV

Ring... ring... ring... I was calling my boyfriend Zack. We have been dating for two and a half years now. His family moved to California to be with his sick grandmother. These past two months have been horrible for me. I no longer had my everything here with me. We called each other every Monday and Friday nights. Ring... ring... That's weird he usually picks up right away.

"Cally..." he was breathing hard "How are you?"

"Alright, but I miss you so much, babe. Are you working out right now?" I responded.

"hu? Oh... yeah, I need to get in shape for the season." He always got the starting quarterback position on our high school football team.

"Baby, who are you talking to?" A female voice said from the distance. No, that can't be right... it must be a nickname, right?

"Zack, who is that?" I asked cautiously.

"Look Cally I miss you too, but we have been dating for over two years hasn't it been long enough? I think some change could be good for us..." I hung up the phone and threw it across the room. This cannot be, how could he? I loved him, I trusted him.

I grabbed my phone and my dance bag and drove to the studio to do what I do best. DANCE! I danced out all of my anger, confusion, hurt, and worry. After hours of dancing my feet were sore, my core hurt, and I was hungry. On my way home from the studio, I called my two closest friends Hailey and Izzy to come over. When they arrived the strong wall I had put up came crumbling down. I hugged them and cried until I could no longer cry anymore.

"Cally, what happened?" Hailey asked with concern in her voice.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Izzy added.

"Zack... h... he cheated on me" I explained the whole story to them and they listened intently.

"Please change the subject now," I pleaded.

"Did you guys hear Zack's old house sold?" Hailey questioned.

"No, I wonder who is moving in?" Izzy asked curiously.

"I hope it is a cowboy," hailey said hopefully.

"Yeah, they are always so strong. It must be the work they do. Plus they are southern gentlemen." Izzy responded probably dreaming about a shirtless cowboy. I rolled my eyes at them.

"Guys they stink like cow shit, animals, and barns in general," In return, they rolled their eyes at my remark.

The girls were over when the moving trucks pulled up. So we went and sat in the bay window and spied. A few minutes later a two cars and a slightly jacked-up pickup truck, all withTexas plates, rolled up at the house. The doors opened and the family jumped out of their vehicles. The first thing I see is his boots... and the girls screamed in joy...
