Yeonjun had hardly slept as the two figures kept bothering him. He slowly opened his tired eyes and saw his usually late sleeping roommate was already out of bed. He checked his phone for the time and felt his soul leave his body. He missed the entirety of his first class. His second class was in thirty minutes. He sighed heavily and decided to just skip an entire day of classes.

His phone buzzed and he checked the caller ID. He put his phone on silent and let it ring. What would he do with his not rightfully earned free time? There was homework he needed to caught up on, so he figured he'd do that before anything else. He had to finish the school year on a good note. He crawled out of bed and sat himself down at his desk.

Yeonjun waved to his roommate before closing the door. He had barely left from the front of his door when he was suddenly tackled from the side.

"You're okay! You wouldn't answer our calls and so we thought something happened to you and-" rambled Soobin before heading Yeonjun let out a frustrated grunt. He quickly got off of him and helped him up. "Sorry."

"I figured I'd just skip classes for today since I already missed my first one. My next one was in thirty minutes when I woke up." explained Yeonjun as he took the stairs down, Soobin following.

"Ah, that's unlike you to sleep in though. Did something keep you up at night?" Soobin pried as he knew Yeonjun better than anyone.

"Perceptive as always, so I guess there's no point in lying to you. Yes, something kept me up. Those figures from last night." Yeonjun said as he pushed the door open.

"I see. If they show up again, I'll fight them off for you." Soobin said with his chest slightly puffed out.

Yeonjun couldn't help but laugh at his friend's "toughness". Between the two of them, Yeonjun had the better fighting skills. Soobin punched the air then grinned at him.

"What time does your class end tonight?" Yeonjun asked.

"5:45. You know this." replied Soobin as they stopped by the cafe for a snack.

"Just checking. There's somewhere I want to take you." said Yeonjun as he took out his wallet. "For dinner. There's a place I want to check out."

"Oh? Then I'll make sure to bring money with me so you're not paying for all of it." Soobin said cheerily.

"That would be terribly." retorted Yeonjun.

Yeonjun waited inside of the building for Soobin to get out of class. It was 5:50. Was his professor holding them back? Just as he got up to check, Soobin came running 'round the corner.

"Sorry! Professor wouldn't let us go until someone confessed to the gun incident." explained Soobin as they walked out of the building.

"So, who did it?" he pried.

"You know that quirky guy, Jino." said Soobin.

Yeonjun nodded as they started to head off campus. It was then he felt as if he was being watched. He looked at Soobin who seemed just fine. Was he overreacting? They turned the corner and two suspicious figures loomed in the distance.

"Bin, let's eat on campus tonight..." muttered Yeonjun as he started to back up.

His face went pale at the feeling of his back hitting against something other than air. Soobin's face filled with horror as he looked back.

"J- J- J- Jun..." Soobin stammered as he pointed.

Yeonjun walked forward then grabbed his hand. They had to run for it. Soobin looked at him and understood. Just as they turned to run across the street, they saw two more figures. They had two options. Surrender or fight. They could get lucky and escape, but 6 against 2 already had a decided outcome.

"Even though the odds are against us, we need to fight back." whispered Yeonjun as the two behind them approached. "Just follow my lead okay?"

"Jun, if we don't make it out of this alive, I want you to know that I l-" Soobin said then noticed Yeonjun had charged at one of them.

He was easily subdued. Soobin quietly surrendered as he held onto Yeonjun for dear life. Neither knew what was going on nor what would happen to them. Yeonjun watched as they knocked Soobin out before he lost consciousness as well.

Yeonjun groaned in pain then noticed it was still dark despite opening his eyes. Was the place dark? Was he dead? He heard little moans come from his side and attempted to find out what it was. He couldn't move. He was chained to something. He could move his legs though. He wasn't a flexible person, so he could only stretch so far.

"Soobin!?" he called out in desperation.

"Jun...? Jun, where are you!?" Soobin shouted despite them being right next to each other.

"Can you move your arms?" Yeonjun asked.

"No." replied Soobin.

"Legs? Can you see?" asked Yeonjun.

"No to both." Soobin replied.

He figured as much. Soobin was the one with flexibility. More than he had anyway. His ears perked up at the sound of the door opening. Something cool touched his legs and he soon regained his sight. Two people hovered by them covered head to toe.

"We officially welcome you to the Lovers organization. You'll be put through rigorous training to see if you'll be accepted during initiation. However, if you're not, you're sure to be killed." one of the two said.

"We hope you find your room comfy. It'll be this way until initiation day." said the other.

They wordlessly bowed before leaving the room. Yeonjun now has his legs chained as well. He looked at Soobin who trembled like an autumn leaf.

"Look, Bin. We can get out of this. Sure, there aren't any windows in here, but there might be in other rooms. Let's just play along for now and get a sense of the place. Okay?" said Yeonjun as he looked at Soobin.

Soobin quietly nodded as he willed himself not to try. He didn't actually want something bad to happen to them. Now that it had, he was spooked beyond imagination. Had he not said that dumb thing when he did, Yeonjun wouldn't be in this predicament. It was all his fault.
