We're am I?
I'm trapped.
I looked everywhere, only seeing other cage that were empty. I looked more to see a door. As I saw it, it started to move. Someone's coming.
I squealed in terror.
As the door opened, in walked a strangers. One with a note pad in his hands and the other stronger looking man.
"Let's see. Subject 4.15.7. It's your time to shine bud." Note bad guy said, smiling as the other guy picked up my cage.
They walked me to a weird looking room with two glass like containers. Did one have a human inside it? The big guy put me into one of the containers, closed up and left me.
I watched through the glass, looking at all the other people moving around as if they were getting ready for something. I watched each of them closely and saw the note pad guy again. He gave me a thumbs up then... BAM!!!
Lights flashed and Sparks flew.
Pain filled my whole body. My limbs grew longer, my claws turned to fingers and my teeth flattened.
I screamed, the sound of my voice started to sound like a teen's.
The pain started to wear off and the lights dyed down.
I looked in the reflection of the now broken glass. I'm a...I'm a human!
People started to walk close to me. I tried bark, but words started to come out my mouth.
"Stay BACK HUMAN!!!" I screamed.
They didn't listen. So I moved on to plan B...RUN!
I forcefully got up and tried to run as fast as I could on my all fours. I wasn't fast enough so I tried to stand on two. I was running...like a person! I was in awe of my movements.
I was fast, my senses were sharp. I was unstoppable.
I started to hear sirens, but kept running through the halls. There were people who blocked my path, so I jumped on a wall and bounced past them as if I had done it my whole life.
The last words I hear were, "FIND THAT DOG!"
I finally made it to a door, saying "exit!". I ran through and was out of what looked like to be some sort of giant building.
I couldn't believe it. I was a human, just like Cassie and Dad...Cassie.
She must be so worried.
I ran through the city, trying to pick up a sent. It was at that moment I smelt it...
Mc Donald's!
I ran into the M signed building and to the nearest person.
"Help me please! I'm looking for my owner." I begged to the cashier lady.
"If this is your attempt of flirting, I suggest someone near your age kid."
"No no, I'm looking for an owner. She's a little girl about this..."
"Are you a pedophile?" She asked. (Is that how you spell it?🧐)
"What's a pedophile?" I asked.
"A child molester."
"I'm not following."
"A person who lures children so that they can touch them..."
"Oh yes! I love being touched, especially when they give me belly rubs." I interrupted, smiling to her.
"Okay then...SECURITY!!!" She yelled.
"Oh are they going to help me?" I asked.
"Not exactly."
Two men walked up to me and each grabbed my arm. They dragged me out Mc Donald's and shit the doors in my face.
"Oh, I understand."
I slowly walked through the streets, hunched over and sad. What if I never see Cas again. What if she was glad I'm gone? What if she...was right THERE!
I looked on the other side of the road to see her, walking into a pet store. I couldn't cross over, due to the cars that Dad warned us about.
"Cassie!" I shouted.
I try to get her attention, but I stopped.
I saw her, holding something, someone. It was another dog. It looked almost just like me.
"Cassie?" I question as tears slip slowly down my face.
She snuggled close to the imposter, hiding her face. It was then I knew...I've been replaced.
I walked away as the tears kept running down my deformed face.
Just then... "CASSIE WAIT!!!"

*Cassie's POV*
Dad walked me to a pet store, to ask if they had seen (Y/n). I missed him soo much.
"Excuse me sir, have you seen this dog." My dad asked, handing the flyer.
"I see many dogs like that." He said pointing behind me.
I turned with a hint of hope, is it him. But it was just a bunch of other dogs of his breed. I know my (Y/n). We have a sort of connection. He also has one brown eye and one blue one and non of them did.
I walked over to the pen, picked up a puppy and showed it to owner.
"These aren't my dog. If they were they would have one blue and one brown eye. I would also know by the way these dogs act. My dog was happy, strong and...and" I choked up. "And this dog doesn't."
I hugged the puppy I was holding, in need of some comfort.
Dad slowly took the dog out of my hands to put it back.
"Peanut, are you okay?" He whispered as I held back my tears.
I panicked...NO I WASN'T OKAY...so I...I ran away.
"Cassie Wait!!!
I didn't listen and kept running. I ran across the road, no matter how dangerous. I kept running until I hit into something, causing it to fall over.
"Ow...Cassie?!"
I looked to see a teenage like boy in front of me. He had one blue eye, one brown. He got up and picked me up off the ground.
"(Y/n)." I whispered.

*(Y/n) POV*
"Cassie!" I heard dad yell.
He smelt aggressive and fearful. Did he not remember me.
I pulled Cassie behind me, to protect.
"Give me my daughter." He growled.
"Dad, it's me!" I insured him.
"I don't know who you are! Give me my child! I will hurt you!"
My aggression got the best of me. I stood my ground, ready to attack.
He jumped at me and I jumped back. We fought a bit until...I bit him.
I stopped as he held his hand in pain. I looked to Cassie to see and smell fear all over her. She hid behind Dad.
"No I didn't mean it." I walked towards them. But they both stood back.
"Bad dog!" Cassie screamed in fear.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to..."
"LEAVE!!!"
"I'm sorry."
