Not trying to fall for you,
I fell in love with all of you.
With your soul,
the way you smile.
With your twinkling eyes,
that shine so bright.
And when you frown,
the way you pout.
The way I see you,
your personality stands out.
I held your hands
for the very first time,
You made a promise
of not letting go of mine.
Together we were
Poles apart to each other.
Loving all of your
imperfectly perfect imperfections.
I was overwhelmed
with your love and affection.
Promises of our
togetherness were made,
Not knowing that I'd
ever get betrayed.
All my dreams
and our promises were shattered,
For you things about us
feels like never mattered.
Still I tried my best
for the impossible,
Giving it a chance
for making us possible.
We were falling apart like flakes,
But I held onto us again and again.
The lack of trust
in-between began to increase,
The closeness between us
started to decrease.
Now I know you actually
never cared,
Maybe it was all fake
the moments we shared.
Tired of it now
making myself emotionally drain,
Let me Go now
I'm done with this pain.
