Mark was shocked. He couldn't cope with the fact there was a old man out to get him and his friends and this weird High scholar that was supposedly July's "boyfriend". It was Saturday morning and he was about to go to town to get his mom some milk, because she likes to sleep in on the weekend, when he noticed a letter hanging on his door. Mark grabbed the letter and wondered who it came, but he had a bad feeling about who it was from. His gut feeling was right again. It was the old man but this time it was hard for mark to read. All he could make out to be real English was the statement, I Have Them!
What was that suppose to mean, I have them, he thought. Mark then asked his mom to call his friends's parents to see where they were and if they could come over while he went to the store. His mom said sure, and went like and stock car racer on his bike and raced back to his house almost dropping the milk trying to run in the front door. "Mom", mark yelled from the door way, " what did their parents say?"
"Their parents said that they were going to meet you at the park this morning." She said with a wondrous like tone. "There was a note at each of their doors this morning saying to meet them, but you weren't writing last night were you?" She asked.
"No", Mark said, " You know that if i got to stay up that you would have made me a hot chocolate with wipe cream and a side of bacon." He then told his mom that he would head off to the park and see if they were there. When he finally got there after stopping for some donuts for breakfast he went into the park and saw something that he didn't believe that he saw.
