chapter; 9 I am a mistake

Gaster and I walked back to the cell. I look into Gaster's eye sockets. I read in a book that the eyes are the gateway to the soul. That's probably why I did it the first time. I have the ability to look directly into someone's soul or mind. To read there thoughts and feeling.

I guess it was then that I really thought about his words.

The words seemed to echo in my head.

"You were a mistake"

"You were a MISTAKE"

"You ARE a mistake"

"MISTAKE"

But I was never intended. I am a mistake. I am nothing. They are the only ones who matter. My brothers are everything and I am nothing. I will protect them and do anything to get them out and safe. I will make sure they are happy. And if I get the chance to save them over me I will save them.

I am DETERMINED to save them.

I will SAVE them.

I start to hear Gaster's thoughts.
"So since I'm doing all 3 of them I will give them 5 minutes to hide. The plates work exactly as I intended so far just one more test. If this test is successful, then I will know for sure that if they find a way to leave I will be able to find them."

Shit

That's why he did this.

I stop staring at him.

Well at least I know how to 'win' this 'game' if I take off my hand then I will be able to leave without him finding me.

He then got my brother and told them what I already knew.

"5 minutes. Go."

I ran.

I was feeling kind of pissed so to get the emotions out I ran. Even if we do get out he will still find us.

I didn't know why I thought of it then. I guess that's how thoughts are. They just come up.

To keep my mind off the words he said. I counted the seconds to make sure I have more time.

I heard my brothers footsteps behind me as I ran through the room. I continued to run. I started to wonder if they were following me.

That question was soon answered as I heard them yell to me "Sister!" "Slow down!"

I let my feet stop moving and came to a stop. I took a deep breath. (I know she's a skeleton but whatever) I let my brothers catch up with me.

"Sister are you ok?" My taller brother said with worry in his voice. "Yeah, sis you don't seem happy." My smaller brother said with the same worried expression.

Crap.

I didn't want them to worry about me. I just want them to be happy.

"I'm fine I just figured something out." I said as I keep counting the seconds in my head.

"20"

"What was that?" My brother with the eternal grin said.  "Oh I said that out loud. I'm just counting the seconds."

"And we have to find a place to hide. We're wasting time just standing here." I said kind of worried.

"Ok it's harder to find 3 instead of 1. So I suggest we split up."

We all nodded in agreement. And ran to find a spot.

I thought of hiding in the same place as last time, but that would be to obvious. So I looked for a new spot.

These are my choices. Where should I hide? Which one is best? How do I chose?
