Once, long ago, Kiba Zuki was once known as Drakiba De Azukar (traslated, basically, from draconic to "Dracoling ({which means child of the dragon race} from draki) of the (de) Moon (azukar)"). As a child, she was in high hopes within the dragon kingdom that she once resided in. Her father, Gritukon, was one of four in the counsel of dragons. Within the world of dragons, he was well known. Renamed after his feats in the wars between the celestials and demon lords in the past. Despite her affluent lifestyle, she longed for something more. When she became a middle-yeared dragon, she had become overbearingly bored with her life; hunting, practicing with her gifts, attending counsel meetings and learning the ways of a "proper mighty dragon" was not enough for her. She longed for adventure. During the fall equinox, Drakiba decided to travel despite her fathers words. He had always warned her of the world beyond the dragons; in that dragons were not meant to be discovered, that other races would attempt to steal their riches and try to exterminate the race itself. However, she never believed this. So, she began her adventure at the peak of the moon. For hours she soared through the night sky, breaching beyond the boarders of the draconic range. Then, her fun was put to an abrupt stop. Below her, was a burning village. As she looked upon it, she could see the humans screaming, crying names hopelessly and begging their god for the souls of the newly dead. Drakiba landed on a large hill, not too far from the village in despair. Unsure of how to resolve the situation, she watched as a group of men fled from the scene, dressed in all black. They murmured to each other, and Drakiba listened closely. "We've done it, men! The village will no longer be in our prospects. -- Less people for us to take care of, eh?!" they all chuckled to themselves and darted off into the darkness. A cackling scream brought Drakiba's attention back to the main scene of the burning village. "DRAGON!--IT MUST HAVE BEEN THE DRAGON!" Drakiba's silhouette hung over the village, her large outline was defined by the light of the dancing fire. Quickly, She spread her wings and fled. She knew this was not good. She had been discovered. On the way home, she ran into her angered father, soaring above the edge of the draconic boarder. "Where have you been?!" he demanded in a growling, raspy voice, speaking in his native draconic tongue. Drakiba told him of her adventure and how the human had seen her and exclaimed it to be so. The anger within her father's blood only boiled hotter. He grabbed her with his claws and slung her to the dry plains below them, creating a loud boom as she hit the ground. Three large claw marks began to bleed lightly on her left arm. She groaned out in pain at her father and begged for forgiveness. Her father dropped to her, the ground shaking a bit as a small cloud of dirt dispersed around him. "You have betray me! Rebelled against my rules, young one, against the rules of your ancestors!--" He brushed his wing above her as a large gust of wind moved in the motion of him, as if he bent it to his will, "Now go! Leave me and enter the caves! I have matters to attend to now..." Drakiba did as she was told as her father called a meeting of the counsel. After many hours of debate, the elders decided on execution on the young dragon as punishment, despite her father's presence within the counsel, they showed her no mercy. However, they were oblivious to Drakiba's presence outside of the dragon counsel's lair. As she heard of the sentence, her heart dropped. She could not stay. In a quick decision, she lifted her wings and soared east, towards the Forest of Alymm. There, she landed, exhausted from hours of flight. She fell to the ground, barreling down. Her large body slid across the grass land and her stilted blue eyes fell closed. Many hours later, she awoke in a most unfamiliar place. It looked like the inside of the humans homes, things she had only seen in books and scrolls. She jolted up but then quickly fell over, unaware of her new light weight. "Agh!" she looked down and yelped. Drakiba was in her human form. She had never shifted before, however she had seen one of the other counsel members, Jurakk, do it once in the past to speak to a wandering traveler to send him astray from the dragon lands. She looked to her hands and her jaw dropped. It was so new to her... She was so fragile. A voice rang above her. "I see you've awaken..." An old man stood before her, holding a small tray with hot tea and a few pieces of fruit on it. "I am Bernard Tuckerson. Here, take some of this, " He placed the tray before her on the floor. That is how it all began--her days as a human. Bernard showed her everything she needed to know about fitting in with the human race. He was never sure why he felt the need to help this young dragonling that had shifted before him in the forest that morning... but there was something about her. He knew she need him, and he needed her. Drakiba was renamed Kiba Zuki, a name more suitable in the human world. Kiba became some-what of a daughter to Bernard. Showing him love and helping him as he needed. At the age of 92, Bernard passed away, leaving Kiba at the human age of 22. In recent days, she resides in Bernards old home in the forest, occasionally visiting towns and cities.
